I'm interested in those Synapse Synchronic wastegates. Are these available yet, and if so, does anyone have any reviews on these???

It depends on compression and displacement. A BC or GTM stroker would spool those turbos with .63 A/Rs pretty quickly

35R's make my peepee move.

Great looking kit... beautiful headers.

on paper yes, on these cars no.

you can see the proof by using an aps st kit, with the TO4E housing, doing very poorly, and i mean poorly, on stock motors and built motors.

then compare that to the IP single kit, with the TO4S housing, making much more power. even tho their 35R kit is way off the charts for the power capabilities for a 35R.

but i do agree, twins TO4E turbos should be better, but i dont think they will do what you think. id still take it, dont get me wrong.

Not having big compressor cover is not the only thing that will limit a turbo from making power. Choke the hotside up and that is more detremental in making power then anything. Two GT35Rs with TO4E comp housings with .82A/R exhaust housings or better yet 1.06A/R exhaust housings will easily make more then 1000WHP on a proeprly set-up VQ motor

i know that, the aps kits hotside/exhaust setup is similar to the IP single 35R, (all be it IWGed) the only true difference being the cold side, and there is almost a 175whp difference (5psi diff also).

stroked APS extreme kit---nowhere near 1000whp
stroked Greddy upgraded kit---ditto
SFR twin 60-1 kit---ditto

ive seen "easily make 1000whp on a VQ" over and over again, but i havent seen it yet. i really hope you prove me wrong and do it, but i really doubt it. you willing to bet a free TT setup on it?

oops, i keep saying IP, but its IntenseFab.

seriously tho, youre work is amazing, i hope you break a grand.

a actually put the aps single 35r on my built 2.4L KA, with a .82 hotside and the same ol T04E coldside. it spools pretty good even with the 2.4L, i get 20psi near 3500 rpms. i just wish i had the S housing instead.

so do Ford GT40s, but its not by much, and thats a 5.4L V8, AND they dont use tiny T04E housings. its hard to compare cars to other cars, we just have to wait and see.

if im not mistaken, the 60-1 hifi close if not a larger turbo than the 35r, and i havent seen a 1000whp dyno posted yet. but good luck thawk408, i know it will be a powerful kit.

Tim, how about just installing 2 Super Thumpers on my car and lets see what kind of numbers those make?
