E85 Flex Fuel Content Gauge with 0-5v from Dynosty
Dynosty is proud to release a new E85 Flex Fuel Content Gauge with 0-5v output, and combo packages! This gauge analyzes fuel content in real time and updates the display showing 0-100 % ethanol content. Take the guesswork out of fill-ups with this gauge – know exactly what grade fuel you are running at all times! Low and high warning feature appears if the signal is disconnected or shorted. 0-5v output can be connected to your engine management (if capable, such as Haltech) to adjust fuel, ignition and boost based on fuel grade, or switch maps based on pump gas or E85.
Works with GM, Chevy and Haltech flex fuel sensors. For more info, check out the release on our blog, http://www.dynosty.com/2012/06/new-e...-from-dynosty/ Dynosty E85 Flex Fuel Content Gauge with 0-5v Output, PN DYN G-E85: $149 Haltech Flex Fuel Composition Sensor: $226 Combo kit with Gauge and Flex Fuel Sensor: $359 Combo kit with Gauge, Flex Fuel Sensor, and -6AN in/out fittings: $399 In stock now! ECU manager can also set up a gauge to display e85 content, correct? Nice prices on sensor and gauge!
|
very cool, a neverending list of parts id like to buy for this car.
|
@rcdash - yes, Haltech will allow you to setup a gauge, trace, number display etc to show live ethanol content with flex fuel sensor.
@bmccann101 - haha it never ends :) |
will this work with platnium pro Haltech or only the new plug in play one?
Thanks |
you can use the gauge and sensor with anything, but if you actually want it to adjust your tune based on the ETOH content, you must use the ecu replacement Haltech

splice it into what? there are no inputs available that trigger anything. That model ECU was not designed for that purpose.
|
I think I’m going to pick up the Haltech flex fuel sensor as soon as my motor’s back together (2 more weeks!)… It should work with the ProEFI computer.
|
you will need the gauge as well since the 48 box can only accept a 0-5V input, not directly from the sensor.
|
Oh, I was planning on buying the Zeitronix E85 display but this would be even better! Didn’t even think about using the Haltech gauge! Wow, a flex fuel setup just got a whole lot cheaper from when I originally bought my ProEFI computer… Thanks Rich! :)
