I'd unplug every connector that got the plunge, spray them with some WD-40 to get rid of the water and then re-spray them with de-Oxit to get the pins and receivers nice and clean.

Zwei, that's not going to make any difference in the wobble test. You can always change out the lug bolts if you think they're stretched. It's a fairly simple procedure to remove them from the hub....
