That would be awesome! I don't know to many people down here so nights can get quite boring (hence why I do all this crap).

Arias pistons and Eagle rods are on their way! A gasket rebuild set, ARP head and main studs, bearings, and head gaskets will be on their way in the next couple months!

I am attempting to sell my kit in an attempt to possibly build a large single turbo similar in looks to my supercharger kit. If I am unable to find a buyer, I am just going to keep going forward with the supercharger. I am strongly considering adding a stillen to the top and doing a twin charger setup.

I ended up going with 8.5:1. Lower than I wanted to go but I plan on running a lot of boost and hope to hit 600whp w/o nitrous. With that in mind I though 9:1 might be to much.

HKS head gaskets and ARP head/main studs came in!!

My rebuild gasket kit should be here on Tuesday!!

I also purchased a stock Vortech supercharger bracket. I am considering two different options right now:

1) Take the stock Vortech bracket and flip it around so the supercharger is on the passenger side. This would allow to run a much larger intercooler.

2) The second reason is that I would like possibly run to Vortech V2 in order to break deep into the 600whp range with reliability by not spinning a blower to 60K every day.

I am hoping I can do it!! The idea is that I would switch to the HR style radiator filler neck that goes through the center of the motor. I'm hoping I can set it up for twin SC's since it would be freaking amazing!!!

The motor is out of the car and will be disassembled next weekend. I am going to start working on a new supercharger setup. As mentioned before, the goal is to make a new bracket and mount the supercharger in a similar fashion to how Vortech does, but on the passenger side. Then I will most likely put the radiator on the bottom and a large intercooler on the top. Somewhat underlying goal is to make the setup capable of having twin superchargers in the stock vortech location but with one on each side.

I'm just gonna concentrate on building the motor first and depending on how quickly that goes I will start working on the supercharger.

Other things that are going to be happening are that all the pipes, brackets, manifold and front timing cover are going to be powder coated finally. So hopefully everything comes out looking really nice and clean.

Another thing I am going to look into is welding the plenum together so it is one piece like a Cosworth Plenum. Most likely I will add a piece of aluminum on the top of the plenum for added strength with a built in removable panel that will give me access to the bolts that connect to the merger to the heads.

I will be sure to post updates as I go forward.

Well I finally got around to taking some pictures of the 928 and some of the changes we have made this year in preperation for Pikes Peak International Hillclimb coming up:

The changes this year are as follows:
1) Switched from CIS mechanical fuel injection to EFI using an Electromotive Standalone ECU and Direct Fire Units ignition system.
2) New redesigened intake manifold tuned for the third harmonics on the motor.
3) Super Powerdyne XB-1A supercharger. This is a supercharger that has a gear driven case with 60,000rpm bearings from a Powerdyne XB-1A that I modified to fit a Powerdyne BD-11 volute and impeller. Typically this supercharger would face backwards as would the BD-11. We are utilizing our billet BD-11 impeller which we have spun test to about 65,000rpms of which the supercharger can usually only spin to about 40,000 due to the fact it is typically not oil fed and has a internal cog belt that likes to snap. Hence the decision to mount it to a gear driven case. Should be capable of about 1600cfm.
4) Switched from the air-water-intercooler setup that we have run for five years to a new air-to-air intercooler setup with a huge intercooler in the front.
5) Lots of weight removed from the car.
6) Switched from our standard 6-rib supercharger crank pulley to an 8-rib crank pulley that I designed and machined.

More pictures to come of both my build and the 928 build.
