Awesome work man. Estimated date of completion? It seems like this has been going on for two years or longer, haha.

Lol. It has been just under a year now. The car should be running supercharged by sometime in April I am hoping. Unfortunately I have had to do this on a budget without sponsors.

However, again, a large thanks has to go out to Jeremy at Performance Factory for his help.

As of yesterday I will also have to give a large thanks to Charlie at Strup as a set of strup headers and test pipes will be on their way this week.

Somewhat simple update but I got word that my stock Vortech impeller and volute will be back in my hands in about 2 weeks.

With that in mind, the intercooler will be getting mounted ASAP and as soon as I can drive the car over to the welders I will get the piping finished. I am on the home stretch now. Now headers and test pipes have been added to my things to do list. Not that its a bad thing

UTEC and Innovative wideband are here!!! Jeremy is sending out the 650cc injectors this week and Charlie shipped my headers and test pipes today!!

Anyone know were I can order a throwout bearing and pilot bearing online instead of going to a dealership????

I would like to replace them when I take the transmission out to inspect the clutch/flywheel.

i have a couple spare throw out bearings and pilot bearings i can get ya.

Recieved the UTEC, MAP sensor and LC-1 wideband gauge!!! Thanks Jeremy!!!!

Headers/Test pipes should be here on th 18th according to DHL!!!

Catch can is installed minus the vacuum line which I can't install till next week when I get my volute back for the supercharger so I can make the intake.

I have removed the oil lines from my supercharger. After talking with Vortech and asking why they say self-contained will blow the oil seals out (which was their online reason why it wouldn't work) I have devised a way to remedy the problem.

I will be testing it without it hooked up to the intake tract just for safety reasons incase it does go. I will be putting Amsoil 100% synthetic 5w-30 in the blower. I am still trying to determine the correct amount. I am going to remove the ports and use a borescope to determine oil level.

I should have pictures this weekend of the radiator completely installed. The power steering cooler is completely finished and the lines cut to length. Side coolant pipe is now installed with welded on -10an fitting.

650cc injectors, new pilot bushing and new throw-out bearing are in from Performance Factory. One more line to finish for the coolant system.

It is getting there. Luckily I recieved all the expensive parts just in time to still be able to deal with the misfortune of my DD finally having its final breath. Gotta go buy a new car this week but I am going to work as much as possible to still hit my full completion date of this spring.

Hoping to have everything checked over this week, fluids put it and start up un-supercharged to start going over the engine for possible leaks on the welds. If all is good stuff should start getting powder coated next weekend hopefully.

lol. I know, I know! It's killing me and I want to get it running so bad!!

Should turn out really nice though once it is all done and everything looks nice and clean.

I am still on the fence with what I am going to do with the lubrication for the supercharger. I have been doing a bunch of research on it. If you didn't know, the Paxton Novi SL series of SC's is the same case as the V2 supercharged but self-contained like ATI. They have some baffles inside and a vent. I can do the vent no problem and I am honestly not sure if I would need baffles inside.

My other option is a scavenge pump to suck the oil out of the case and put it back into the block assuming the use of engine oil.

Options suck...
