^ I shifted out of 5th into 6th hard and was only in 6th for a second before I hit 160, then I saw the needle bounce off the 160 mark. Hence hitting the limiter.

How much would you put down with a 25psi tune? Thats a high boost level for these cars, but I'd love to see the results.

BTW, I know you had some little hiccups with the car when you first got it back. Has everything been running ok?

Time for an ECU reflash to delete that speed limiter.

In the past, the two 20g's we ran made power to about 22-24psi. Probably another 50-60whp max. They start dying off quickly after 20psi.

Sharif, did either of those 2 20G cars have any headwork, cams, or meth? curious how bigger cams would have any impact?

Will see, I am having Forged smooth out the tune and go over it again and possibly raise the boost up to 22-24 psi, I might have to switch to dual fuel pumps.... but we will see. Oh and I also have to get a reflash to delete the speed code.

the c6 z is an odd beast. It seems like they hang with more powerful cars all the time. Maybe just really good gearing?

yeah i understand that.. but with almost 100 whp more.. i would think the 400 or so more pounds could be made up easily.. i didn't expect the z06 to pull at all.. maybe even.. or dill winning

Were gonna run again from 65-150 and that should have a clear cut decesion.
GEARING, that car has insane gearing. He was in 4th gear most of that race.
If I switch up to a 3.3 I would win.

I run my 16psi map... the normal driveablity is the best on that map.
in that race I was boostin 20psi my race gas map, I had him but the speed limiter killed my car at the end. Were gonna run again from a 65-150.

Damn that sucks. Ive beaten those at my old 490whp DD map...
3.3 FD FEELS slower than the 3.5, but I assure you it isnt. All 500+whp Greddy cars should run it. 8000rpm's + 3.3FD = INSANE long gears, but I wouldnt know about that.

^^ I really have to get 3.3 gears, gearing kills me in this race.
Any 550rwhp 350z will get smoked by this car bert... ill bet you my car on that.
he put down 533 on a dyno jet with 255 miles on his car, he has a monster CAM, headers, intake, x-pipe and tune.
