Like str8 put up...

just did 540rwhp @ 14psi on 93 octane about 2 months ago (almost 10K on the setup) and gawd knows what the clutch was up too....it died days later lol.

Not bad for stock heads/cams on basically the stage 1 setup

you always have to add that lil disclaimer.

i remember you saying you have it tuned for race gas and just so-so for pump. Is 14psi all you can run on pump before you start knocking?

Str8,
I have had it as high as 18psi, but the plugs showed some signs of light detonation. So I don't like to run it up over 17psi on pump. Larry has it tuned to start adjusting the timing and fuel at anything above 15.5psi....

Will most likely do cams over winter, so I know larry will adjust the tune around more, maybe give me 18psi to use on pump

But 15psi is usually plenty more than for most cars up here

Aced,
I have L19 headstuds, and HKS Headgaskets. (Rest is pauter rods, weisco pistons, ACL bearings, Rev-Up oil pump). Nothing fancy. Still 3.5L

G,
The car spools almost...what 1000rpm faster on the street lol (yes even though the mustang dyno is load bearing). And since this dyno I have swapped out the 3.5FD for a 3.3FD, that brought it down about another 200rpm.

In 1-3rd I get full boost by like 3400-3800rpm'ish.......5,6 - like 2800rpm lol (Thank you stock cams.....but they DIE above 6200rpm pretty bad)

Could you detect the knock on your EMS or only by looking at the plugs? No meth, correct?

It was real mild knock. Doubtful the ecu was even registering it. Couldn't feel it while driving (I know what it feels like when its extreme...had a z31t that let go cause of it lol). You could tell on the plugs though (it was actually a little heated debate on if it was knock).....so we error'd on the side of caution and I back it down a touch.

Tom

P.S. - hey I'm consistent lol.

For the sake of a better fit, do .020 over. I did 95.5 at the time, but had hardly any miles on the block.

I believe its because he is using stock cams which I'm guessing stop making power after 6K.

Stock cams are the answer. We are working that issue out with Tom as well

Yup was the stock cams. Power falls like a rock above 6k (actually 6200rpm)...just used this part for display purposes.....

cams going in, in a few weeks. Still cold here, haven't seen my car in 3 months.

Lets hope Thom picks up all that stuff. That would be nice to see the before and after dyno's with the Exhaust dumps. Curious to see how well they perform on a VQ35 with TT's.
