Got it up on stands and the stock brakes off. Akebono kit going on shortly. Also happened to find a nail in a brand new R-S3. Don't know much about tires unfortunately, removed the nail and it doesn't leak. Should I plug it? Going to see plenty of track time this year. Nail was 1/2 inch long.

If it's not leaking it's fine
Make sure by putting soapy water

dropped car off to get front nose piece replaced, get hood cleaned and front fenders touched up and repainted, and to install the zspeed undershroud, tbw flywheel cover and what ever that plate that covers the huge gap at the hood latch is called ..in addition- a few bolts that hold the head lights in-that were missing and a few other missing odd and ends clips/snaps...wilwood brake kit was supposed be done while car was in shop-but that fell short when i got everything from a seller-but a set of brake lines- figured- waste of time for the shop to install everything-then have to come back to add the lines-then bleed it all over again....sigh.
this is one of the reasons im replacing the nose piece
this is the back of that
tore up under shroud
flywheel cover tore up also
these 3 parts- how they did not end up on side of the road way is beyond me-they were just laying inside the nose piece- both sight shield things and the drivers side shield
close up of the front lip spoiler- all the connectors are still good-but whole piece scraped to hell, but holding of on replacing it since its going to cost as much as the entire nose piece cost... so looking for alternative cheaper ideas in mean time...

Thats pretty funny, I found the exact same pieces and I couldn't figure out where they went for the longest time. Then I noticed where they were broken, looks identical.

Switched wheels (set rotation? ) as a test.
Trying to decide on whether to change color or just sell....
In case you're wondering.... these were originally bought for use on my black Niz. Too dark - IMO - for my silver car.

Colorado looks good honestly. Nice look. What colors were you contemplating?

Was thinking fushcia.
Not.
If anything, will go to the original Volk Mercury Silver or some sort of silver. All of the silver wheels I've ever put on this car did the trick nicely. Didn't even like these on the car (still too dark)....

Tried to put some vinyl overlays on my turn signals today. Tragic failure. Lol. First ones I bought were ebay and didn't even line up. Second set were also ebay but a little higher quality. I was unable to get all the wrinkles out before they became creases.
Crap!! Anything that requires any arts and crafts skills is beyond me. Lol
Anyone got any experience with gts overlays??? They're pricey but they aren't vinyl adhesive. Much easier to install I'd assume.
Are they too black to see your turn signals working? The website warns of that possibility.
