Officially on my way back home.
When I had my brembos, I did get the z1 kit. Worked great for about a year and as soon as the warranty was over my rotors warped and began to pulse terribly when braking.
So no i won't be buying that package again. But right now I have the CZP akebono package and no issues with it but it's only been about 6 months

Did you use the brake lines? It seems like the best bang for the buck. I ended up braking my hard lines getting the line out of the caliper. The rotors seem to be stock blank ones. They are not in bad shape...
Im debating if I should get new seals or not...
Also debating if I should just sell them... They are nice looking but really are heavyweight brakes.
Also any pointers on getting the rear timing cover off? Pretty sure I got all the bolts but its not coming off yet, unless im missing some under the oil pan again.
I also have a stripped nut on the manifold bolt for the cat
But that was expected... Fun fun

Got the Z back from the shop installing the new JWT clutch and flywheel. Dropped it off running perfectly with zero CELs and sadly that wasn't how it was returned. P0011 and P0021 codes, zero power whatsoever and a harsh bucking/jerking at 2500rpm.
Looked into it and since the only thing that happened between it working flawlessly and having problems was the install, the culprit makes sense. The flywheel was not properly aligned with the crank marker and is causing all of my symptoms. Seems to be fairly common (at least 5 instances on forums found in 2 minutes of searching). Now I just have to convince the shop...

Well that really does suck. Sorry to hear it isn't going perfectly.
Also got my supercharger back. I took it to my local polishing guy to trim the extra pieces off so it will mount to the bracket. I told him "just give the front a quick polish so it isn't so dull, don't go too crazy". Well this is how it came back and the bill for all of the work was only a hair over 100

Yea they are amazing. The first place I stopped in at quoted me 200 just to trim the metal pieces off.

Do that by chance do any chrome work? Or do you know anyone who does actual chrome? My brother needs some pieces done for his mustang...
So about half the top threads on one of my brembo brakes bleaders came off with the bleeder screw... Apparently you can get rebuilt calipers from advanced auto parts for $100 and $85 core charge... What would you guys do... The bleeder still screws in fine, its just missing half the threads so im skeptical.

No I've been in his shop and he doesn't have the equipment for chroming. Its quite an extensive process to get real chrome work done.
If the bleeder still has at least 3 rounds of threads I would say you are fine.
Also got the v7 on today and started the car up to make sure everything sounded right. Saying it was a snug fit is an understatement. Lots of trial and error with revolving the snail part around to where it would fit the original piping. Overall I expected there to be a bad bearing type of sound because its a v7 with straight cut gearing. Turned out to not be that bad, once it warms up there is a nice whistle that is a little louder than my v2 was.
