What have you done for your Z today?
I restored both my headlights. Now they look almost brand new. I messed up with the clear coat so it's not as good as brand new. But still way better than before.

thanks
Ive been using this for a while now. its a bit expensive but very clean and easy to use, no mixing and hooking up a paint gun. as long as you wet sand up to 2000 and use 3M cutting compound, you can get professional results for a fraction of the cost. i was quoted some where around 300 to paint the fender. Doing it myself costed me under 50 bucks.
oh and for anyone looking to permanently fix their yellowed hazy headlights, this stuff works great. about 20 bucks a can and you can do around 4 sets of headlights.

i buy them from an autobody supply shop near my house. otherwise i think you may need to order it online. it has a chemical hardener in it that when cured, will withstand UV and is much more durable than any 1 part clear.

Note to self when you want to test out just how garbage the stock motor mounts are keep in mind that they have fluid inside that is going to dump all over you and the floor.
Also I might need to give up on thinking I can do anything bodywork wise that comes out even remotely looking good.
Saga will continue, hopefully I can sand without getting down to bare metal at some point.

Brought it in for a check up at the Z Car Garage and spur of the moment got an Uprev Tune. Added 8 more HP and 13TQ…not bad at all. And it’s REALLY noticeable. It pulls so much harder now in 2nd, 3rd and 4th and throttle response is much improved.
Today was a good day…and I didn’t even have to use my AK.

In the last 3 months I've got the nismo wheels and the invidia exhaust. I love the wheels the exhaust sounds pretty quiet honestly. I liked my muffler delete. But looks 1000x better. Additionally I got a new clutch and flywheel installed. I noe have the zspeed stoxk replacement with the quiet disk all the hydraulics and the JWT lightweight flywheel. I love my car.

You get a lot of chatter with that flywheel?

I agree, I wish it was much louder. I may add a set of test pipes to mine. I feel that it almost sounds stock.

My borla is the same way... Headers and high flow cats and its still very tame... It sounds good, just not that aggressive or attention getting. Its grown on me, especially after being around any obnoxious single exhaust Z.
I took a long trip and picked up a new set of base model seats... Was a little surprised when I figured out they don't have air bags in them... O well
