I've always been more of a G guy but the bumper combinations, side skirts, and that spoiler is perfect. That rear shot of the car almost looks like a Porsche. Seriously that's all I thought when I saw the rear shot. That spoiler has to be the best looking one I've ever seen

I went out to watch the Blue Angels do practice runs at Boeing Field today. My car enjoyed the show with a pair of Corvettes. The brand new front bumper has made the Z very happy; it told me so.

Pulled motor to make portable stationary engine stand for transportation.
Randomly measured my wrist pins, CP sent the wrong ones so finally got the upgrade and added DLC coating.
Had a engine hoist in boxes for a while, put that together so I could pull the engine again.
Started the engine stand.
Finished my brakes and tore them down completely and sent off to the powder coated.

Forgot to take pictures of my days events... It was hot and miserable outside so I wasn't all that productive, but at least I mowed the lawn...
Took out the air bags on both sides, removed steering wheel, removed center waterfall area, radio, and vacuumed up a bunch of poo... Cleaned up the seats, was offered $300 for them by some dude (I declined)
Sold the wheels for $300... They will go onto their rightful home... A 90s mustang.
Sold the drivers air bag, pop charger, passenger side dash, radiator clips, washer fluid reservoir, Z fender emblems, and some other odds and ends. For $122
Not a bad day of parting out.

Well im trying to be strategic in this dismantling... Its a little hard because I want to get right into the cutting up with the sawzall part, but im running out of storage space...
Im about to give up on keeping the motor runnable though...
Im also going to lose it on the next guy who messages me asking why im parting it out haha
Im pretty sure at least 2 people were thinking they would buy the whole thing and put back on the road...

Well after my disappointing contributions yesterday after my 11 hour work day...
I tested then removed the headlights... (they still worked)
Removed the drivers side fender.
Drained the radiator...
Removed the aluminum bumper piece..
Unplugged all the wires up front..
Removed the hood latch..
Removed the radiator support...
And made a big old mess on my driveway...
People walking by did not seem impressed...
But you animals are never impressed
I also fed the local mosquitos, and ran out of day light...

Pulled almost everything useful out of the car except the engine and transmission... Car is hopefully going to its new home tomorrow...giving up that engine cradle, and the rear suspension for the convenience of not dealing with disposing of the carcus..
Will get pictures tomorrow before it goes, it was an all out picking tonight.

Spent the last few days doing a full detail….wash, claybar, Klasse All in One wax and Klasse glaze sealant. Love the results but I almost don’t want to drive it because it’s so damn CLEAN. Gave my E46 the same treatment.
Headed to a Cars and Coffee event tomorrow so happy the Z will be in showroom condition.

Well those new awesome wheels are going to be a hard act to follow... But ill do my best...
So little back story... Some dude wanted to buy the motor, I was like sounds good, how would you like it situated for pick up... He was like I don't know thats a lot of work if I pull it, and it will take a long time...
I was like ill have the motor sitting on the ground away from the car, you will just need a way of getting it into your monster truck...
We went back and forth till I said ill pull everything I want out of the car you can come with a flatbed and take whatever is left with the engine and transmission all the rear suspension so the back still rolls...
He was like ill be back tomorrow with a tow truck, good and good... We worked out a price, shook hands...
Bam
Removed all the door guts from both doors, removed front suspension, removed brakes, removed front brace, removed exhaust removed seats, removed shifter, removed axles, removed and replaced rear cross brace, took off w brace, pulled all plastics, pulled wipers and wiper motor, removed ecu... Etc etc etc
I removed a whole lot of **** in not a lot of time...
So comes today at 11 with tow truck... Brings his dad with him this round, starts saying how he has no way of verifying the low miles on the engine, and the odometer could have been swapped etc etc etc... Im like WTF...
So long story short, he makes me a ridiculous low ball offer, and im like no thanks ill just keep it... And the saga will continue..
If you made it this far here comes the picture dump.
Then I drove the actual car to Costco... The struggle be real at Costco.
