I hate that code!! I've had my battle with it. When I first had the car back together and just let it idle in the garage a few times to bleed coolant , check for leaks, check for exhaust leaks ect , it would always come on. I noticed it would change my miscounter which meant my crank and cam sensors weren't syncing. So i started replacing my sensors one at a time with new oem ones. I wanted to make sure the car was 100% ready mechanically for the dyno.

First I replaced the crank sensor then the driver side cam sensor and then I didn't notice the code come on again so i thought i was in the clear.

Well when i had to downgrade firmware so I could pass emissions, my car didn't want to start at all. All it would do is crank over and as it cranked the miscounter would infinitely increase. So then i started panicking because this thing needed to pass. I'd go back to the most current software and it would start no problem. So in my head im thinking yup looks like im forced to make this a full blown drag car now lol.

Well, Hal told me to change out the last cam sensor on the driver side and sure enough the car fired right up on the old firmware all of a sudden. It was extremely strange but it worked. Apparently the haltech is sensitive to these sensors.

Once i got a sticker i went back on the most current firmware. Every now and then I see the code come back but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues. Usually when I stop somewhere and I turn the car back on the cel is gone.

Yep I had the same issue haha. It's a pita. I when I first built my car and put the cams in I thought I had can timing off. Turns out the orielly brand sensor I had the Haltech didn't like. Put all new oem sensors in and it would start fine. Then I posted in the Haltech forums about it cause it would still do it and not start sometimes. They got me with the latest software update at the time and then it wouldn't do it I believe that was the 12.1 at the time. They told me that aftermarket flywheels can cause the timing issue and my car has a Tilton flywheel. After the 13.1 update I haven't seen the code since but it was a pita to figure it out.

i had reached out to haltech myself because i read the post on their forum where they said flywheel variations could affect it. But they ended up giving me the firmware i already had which is 1.13.4 so that didn't solve anything lol its what i'm currently on too. hmmm so 13.1 no code at all?

Nope I did the update a few weeks ago on the Dyno and it didn't come back. We noticed that when the code was present the car had trouble idling. Clear the code and it would idle like a champ. Did the update and haven't seen it since.

The guys at Haltech hooked me up with it. I'll check when I get home and make sure that is the current software revision that's in the ecu but I'm pretty sure it is I'll let u know when I get off work.

Its still surges but only when coasting when I come to a stop it idles like normal. Honestly I probably won't even mess with it. It's the least of my concerns at the moment. I have to pull the trans and rebuild the clutch I burned up last weekend. I also ordered an RJM clutch pedal but that won't be here until the end of the month. My main concern right now is getting this pig to 60ft.

Hopefully those 11.5's fit. The 28 10.5's are ever so slightly rubbing on the fender it's almost not noticeable it must only be rubbing on the intial launch. I need to get my fenders rolled soon.

Both sets of my drag wheels are 15x8 with 5.5" bs. I have 275/50/15 radials on one set and the 28 10.5 15's on the other set.

5.5 bs did the trick , took it for a ride and did a quick 1st to 3rd and hooked really nice. No rubbing so far. The true test will be when i launch this thing at the track.
