Default PSA: When asking "will this rub"....

Please provide enough information for us to answer you. More and more I'm seeing questions like "will 19x10.5 rub in the rear without a roll???" Will that rub? We don't fcking know because you didn't even provide us with even half of the info we would need to tell.

For anyone needing to ask whether their setup will rub, you need to give as much of the following information as you can. Give it all if you know it:

-Tire size (xxx/xx/xx)
-Wheel size including offset
-Camber spec
-If your car has been lowered or if its stock height (if you lowered your car and haven't gotten an alignment afterwards, then it doesn't really matter if you're lowered or at stock height. Ride height only comes into play if you adjust the camber after lowering the vehicle)

-stock height

Thinking of getting Eibach pro-kit lowering springs next. 1' drop in front and rear. Will it rub? Will I need a fender roll?

Thanks.

More than likely, I have the same springs with 9.5 and +22 offset rear wheel, 275/40 tire.. you will be an inch wider and better offset but the tire will be stretched some

The rear will rub, since you don't know how to size tires, the front will clear just fine.

-245/40/19 275/35/19
-(19x9 +47mm Offset & 19x10 +30mm Offset),
-Tein H Tech

Currently have the wheel on with 20mm spacer with stock height. Thinking of lowering it with Tein H Tech which will lower it to 0.51 inch front and .3 inch rear. Its a convertible so it lowers it a bit more than coupe. Would front rub at all?

Thanks.

i currently have 19" rims not sure offset but have 245/35f 275/35r looking at getting new rims. the car is lowered but last owner just used spring and well it is to low. going to redo it with tien coilovers and swap to 18" rims would the sizes/offsets work below? ill still have the car lower than stock but i dont want to roll fenders or run neg camber ill be putting it and 0 camber will be daily driver with some strip times. also will a bbk work or would you need to also look at the spokes to help answer that?

18x9.5 +12 front 255/40 18x10.5 +22 rear 285/40

Default rub?

Car is in shop..enkei rpf0l sbc-18x9.5/10.5+15 all 4..nitto nt05's 275/35 and 295/35.

Shop says it looks like it will rub (still on hoist)... dropped 1" on coilovers.
Anyone running this combo that can attest to rubbing, roll or pull necessary?

I'm ready to order TE37SE's
19x9.5+22 l 19x10.5 +22
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/35R19 l 285/35R19

My car is not lowered at all and I just want to make sure that I will not have any clearance issues.

I also dislike it when the rim appears to be wider than the tire and the sidewalls slope out from the tread to the rim.

I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks

Tire size Currently - stock, looking for options though.
Real question here is what size wheels should I get, am looking at Enkei RPF1's and I know some guys are running 10.5 wide 18 inch Enkei Rpf1's with 15 mm offset on all 4 corners of their Z's with stock fenders, but they are running 265/35-18 tires, rather then 265/40, thus throwing off the speedo a bit.
stock camber
stock height

Pretty much, I want to know what the widest wheel I can run is, and what /40-18 tires I should run to get as much rubber down, on stock suspension, without rubbing, and without rolling the fenders. And I want to have it all squared up, that is to say, same wheels and tires on all 4 corners. Would 10 inch wides work? Could I pull of 10.5? I do plan on coil overs and lowering one day, but when that day comes, fender rolling will if it needs to as well....though, it doesn't throw off the speedometer that much I'm sure? So could I pull off 10.5's with 265/35s?

Just roll the rear fenders, minor roll, Enkei NT03 in 10.5 +30 and you can run a 315 out back. Without a roll, who knows , you lose a lot of clearance.

New idea - Square 10" setup with 275/35-18 or 285/35-18's, should be doable surely? without a roll? Ill look into people who can roll my fenders just in case, lol. Also, anyone know how going from a 45 to 35 will effect speedometer? Guessing it wont be to much of a affect
