Default HR motor in an '03?

Howdy, I have a '03 touring edition and it is new engine time.My question is will the newly updated engine drop right into my older Z, is it at all possible, would there be many modifications (or any)needed?And please recommend any good suppliers for engines.I have seen a couple of used HR engines for sale on eBay for under $2K.

"Newly updated".... laff..... haven't made 'em for 9 years.

Hard to believe, but this question comes up almost every week. Do new Z33 owners ever search any longer?

Hey bro I’m currently doing the swap on my friends Z. The most important part in this factor is wiring. Z fever’s wiring harness is very expensive. My friend chose to go with a close friend of mine at Q Fab Motorsports and he is doing it less than half of the price Z fever sells it for. I’m doing a YouTube series on it if your interested in watching

At that point why not swap in a vq37vhr?? Theyd both require the transmission, engine, ecu, sensors, and harness, correct?
