just bought a 2007 nismo #71 last night. my parents have owned it since 2007 and I always tell them when they go to sell it I want it... well 10 years later the decided to sell it and I jump one the opritunity. So now i own it. It was bought here in Tampa FL and now has 68k miles on it. I need to replace some of the peeling interior pieces and a few other things but she’s still in great shape.

Several years ago a young man was trying to impress people with his street-drifting skills. A wooden power pole jumped out in front of him (really the pass side door) and totaled the car.
He survived the accident fortunately and has served as a reminder against street drifting and street racing.

Not that I condone street racing or anything, but what do ya'll do when a comp-worthy vehicle pulls next to you at a light revving their engine? Just keep looking straight?... Honestly?...

And for those that don't, there's usually someone in their car hittin' the driver upside the head going, "Dude, don't!! You know who that is, don't you, ya f**k!!"
But wait, Trav, what happened to your usual defensive line? "1 inch at 100mph gun' tear some shid up!"

I buried 2 friends in high school, many years ago. Out for a good time, thought they were bullet-proof, ( like we all did ar 18 yrs). It left a mark on me that is still with me. I see one's folks at church almost every Sunday.
Every time I see them I get this strong sensation. If their son had survived, he'd be my age.
Creepy, yes. I have a FB sticker on my car to help defray the costs of a funeral for a 24 yr old who died on Hwy 129 (The Dragon) one week after ZDayZ.
I drive my Z in a VERY spirited manner sometimes, and enjoy the h3ll out of it! Within the limits of my car and my skills, I never put anyone else's life in danger, but still have fun!
Enjoy your week and your car, my friend!
Edit- I either smile and thumb-up or ignore.

Honestly, I simply carry on with my travels and ignore folks that wanna run. They are usually young, and dumb. If I wanna drive hard I go w a group.

I'm sorry to hear that about your friends.. That's never easy to deal with.. Makes one appreciate life a little more and realize that we're not indestructible, at any skill or age level.
I think I remember reading about that accident on here actually. It's admirable how you're trying to muster support too. Good stuff.
Thanks, bud. You do the same.
