Newbie with stupid wheel question... don't hate me
Hi-
I'm not a 16 year old, actually I'm 56 and I love the car, 2003 Enthusiast 117,000 miles. Original clutch and tranny.
I don't mod, I'm " mostly" happy with what I've got. Except for the wheels.
Question... I did a little searching but I'm just restless...Sorry... I have factory 17's ( non brembo btw) Can I fit factory 18's on without any worries, just plug and play ? They really do look better.
Thanks and seasons greetings

If you do factory 18s, the best way to go is with Track V.1s as they are the lightest and strongest wheel in the Z line up. Touring V1 or V2 18s are not light and are not an upgrade other than a slightly lower sidewall. If you don't go light and strong, it's not worth doing as performance won't improve much. If it's mostly for looks, anything is fine but still not worth it.

That's why I've hesitated for years. It just doesn't seem worth it :-) As much I as I think bronze wheels would look great on the Daytona Blue.
I do like the 5 spoke wheels tho.. It's an ebay ad, I'll do some research on model #'s
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-350Z...19.m1438.l2649
And I know my money is definitely better spend on lessons at the track of that I have no doubt..
Thanks all.

I see these same wheels (in similar condition) on craigslist for < $500 most times.

I hear you. But for me, 600 with free shipping isn't bad. I haven't seen anything decent here in New Mexico. Everything is trashed or especially dipped ( wtf ?)
I'd have to drive to a salvage yard in AZ oir TX, and that's a 6 hour drive off of car-part that a crapshoot.
There's a reason I haven't bought any. Plus mine is the only stock 350 I ever see.

Some people use dip to test out new colors, and some people use dip because they can't say that. ^ ..
