Default Bought an eBay exhaust (Spec D tuning) w/ horrible rasp

hey guys! Just recently bought a 30k mile 07 350z enthusiast. Was in the market for an exhaust and stumbled upon this one (https://www.carid.com/2007-nissan-35...381450980.html) and bought it. Put it on in minutes and everything and I believe it came with the piping connecting to the cats, mid pipe, then the resonated mufflers. Now I've heard other VQs and they have that deep nice fluent sound. This one sounds SUPER raspy and I'm not really happy with it. Someone suggested buying a magnaflow X pipe (Part #: 10790) and weld it with the mid pipe to decrease the rasp and drone. Someone else suggested doing the muffled X pipe that I cannot find. Please help! Just trying to tone down the rasp of this thing...

Also, with the exhaust, it said to have come with removable silencers, now I see those bolts on them but after unscrewing them, it seems like it's just of you were to put a silencer on!! Or I'm just doing something wrong..

If you remove that bolt and nut the silencer portion will come out of the inner part of the tip.Sometimes they're wedged in there good though!

best thing u can do to get rid of that rasp is to get a magnaflow X pipe reasonator (Forgot part number) and replace where those 2 resonators are in the Y section.

You bought a $350 exhaust... It's going to sound like a car with a $350 exhaust...

That's the exhaust mine had when I bought it. Sounded dope you should keep it. It's only raspy at 4500+

Exactly when it should. JDM YO
