getting to 12 seconds?
I think I'm close.....
Zex 55 wet shot, Kinetix stainless velocity intake, K&N cool air, 365cc injectors, Hypertech power tune, air cool hood, test pipes into dual exhaust, Eibach springs, Truhart radius arms, Nitto 555R drag radials, doing 436 final drive to hopfully get me closer to high eleven's
do you guys think I;m even close?

I'm not a huge fan of the kinetix velocity intake ... I don't think its as effective as you'd think it would be and I think people are losing power.
What's the Hypertech power tune? Look into uprev...
what weight savings measures can you incorporate?
If it was me and I was "value-mod'ing" this I'd see what filter to throttle bodies people are running and leaving the OEM plenum alone with the exception of a plenum spacer and possibly the motordyne lower plenum modification.
Your biggest gain will come from a re-tune...

Doesn't high elevens usually require like.. 450+ hp? I've never been drag racing but from what I've seen on the interwebs it's no easy feat. What times are you running now? Do you have an LSD or is slip even an issue with drag radials?

Sorry Ive been away for a while, so best way to get closer to 12's, is bigger jets in the ZEX system. Thank you all for your input, I'm new to these cars but I love it.
dboyzalter, I turned under 14 with Nitto drag tires and stock everything, just so you know, reaction time also means quite a bit

Dude, just hit it with a 150 shot. Without n2o, you might catch a mid 13 at the track doing all the right things. You're gonna need that 150 shot, crossed fingers and some holy water to get that thing into the 11's.

That be a fact!, I have stock exhaust manifolds though, so not sure how much I can spray. I have to do smog, and my old *** needs to be able to do quick swaps every 2 years. Valley head service may be able to get them to flow better, at least get them on a bench, to measure flow rate, they did wonders for my 428 Mustang, back in the 90's.

you're right, it is budget and smog prep, but i'm into it enough to listen to you about uprev, I have old windows and uprev needs at least windows 8, but I'm saving and doing the tune soon as I can, and studying how much bottle I can spray.
I thank you again

It takes awhile, even with all the information available on this site, to figure out what's gonna get your car to accelerate best. BIG intake pipe numero uno imo, high flow cats or none at all, intake collector work or as some may say, a kinetix velocity.
There's a guy on this site who's selling a cosworth(?) upper plenum, mrev2 type lower with the neck bored to match the large throttle body and a large diameter intake pipe all for like $500-$600 iirc. Good deal and it would already be mine had I not done something similar with my setup. A setup like this will be a MAJOR improvement over the stock intake pipe, plenum and throttle body.
Unless your building something that's just for the track, you might consider making the car itself as fast as possible while staying naturally aspirated and then add in the n2o.
