Default Had my bumper resprayed opinions?

So some a hole rear ended me and ran off so I had to get my bumper fixed and resprayed here is how it turned out. What is your all’s opinion on the result? Defiantly can tell it’s lighter but I will include a old pic from winter that shows it’s always been a different shade. Also just got my new spoiler in and was wondering if I should get it sprayed by the same shop based on how people feel they did.

seems odd to me I know the rear and front bumper are always different but I don’t think my oe sides should be too. What would you rate their work? I got a spoiler and new front bumper to paint and wondered if I should try my luck elsewhere.

The difference between urethane and steel bodywork accounts for the different shades of silver. In addition, silver is a difficult color to match as it fades slightly at different rates.

No way to rate a paint job accurately from the photos you've posted.

There's a noticeable difference between the bumper and the metal body on your car. The plastic's paint is matte and lacks the reflection seen on the rest of your car's body.

I've never seen a silver or a red car with urethane bumper covers that have a perfect color match. Your fixed rear bumper looks about right. I've certainly seen worse.

Body shops lighten up the color automatically based on the car's year to account for fading, but I ordered paint for my Z with just the paint code and it looks the same color as the 15 year old paint

Mines been bumped a few times so I've been in for a few paint jobs. The paint was calculated by their machine to color match exactly. But your original paint does indeed fade or change over time. So a good shop should do some "blending" around the seem to make the paint appear to match.
