Default Exhaust Recommendations

I just purchased a 04 Z and got testpipes for it. Would adding a glasspack to my exhaust make it sound better or just flat out annoying? I want that deeper tone more than the high raspy tone

What's your budget? These threads nearly always seem to end up with, "well I bought an ebay exhaust for under $200." Prices vary: $150-300, $600-700, $900-1,500.

I would say something between $800 to $1200 minimum if you are looking for something with a decent sound.

I have high flow cats and a Tanabe Medallion exhaust. It's got a very nice deep tone, comes alive in the 3-4k range and is not raspy and obnoxious. You can cruise and outside of high load it's very quiet inside, roll the windows down and jump on it and it comes alive. The full motordyne system sounds awesome too but it's slightly more than what I wanted to spend.

Did you get resonated test pipes or straight pipes?

Im going to go out on a limb here and guess you didn't get art pipes.
