Z1 has a combo FW/Clutch kit for $600.00. This seems like a good mid-range choice at a fair price. I would recommend the Mild Performance Clutch (standard full face) with the mid-weight flywheel option to help with the gearbox chatter.
I'm personally using a Specialty Z lightened flywheel with an SZ/RPS sport street clutch on my 06 Z. I'm very happy with it's performance overall. My only complaint is the gearbox chatter at low rpm under load, but that is synonymous with Z33s using lightened flywheels, can't really escape it. This combo runs for $900.00, but will hold more torque vs. the Z1 mild performance clutch.
Whatever you choose, just stay away from the chinesium ebay kits.

CZP has a sale going on for their JWT combo kit $725.00 , not a bad deal.

This might even be a better solution for OP as its both cheaper and with the iron flywheel, has no "light flywheel" consequences.... that is, no increased noise/chatter, freeway lag. Very close to stock in feel. I installed one on an HR car (notorious for noise and chatter even with the DMF) and its no noisier or bothersome than stock set up with slight increase in pedal (but that could be due to the Z Speed hydraulics too - but on HR, that's a good thing with its horribly light pedal). But for DE/DE RevUp, well, it's been a go-to clutch for a long time for good reason.

Trusted names like JWT, Exedy, Southbend, ClutchMasters, ZSpeed, etc. all earned their reputations for reasons besides price.

You asked for "name brand" clutch (right there in the title) for a 350Z not the $200 units on EBay, of which there are many. Heck, there are $69 clutches on there. I might believe that a $200 clutch would work for a bit but not one that should be rated "$1 per minute of use" and crap out in a bit over an hour.

I guess you miss the "other platform" part of that.. I also asked for decent brands.. because no. I don't use ebay crap.
But . 600$ for a oem style clutch is a bit retarded.
let me explain:
Wifes car.. 05 WRX STI - Exedy clutch kit. 220$..
Wifes jeep CJ5 with '82 350 and 4 speed. - Exedy clutch kit 88$.
My cars n coffee highway pull toy 04 Termintor cobra - exedy clutch kit. 230$..
My track rat miata. exedy clutch kit 108$..
My 1995 dodge stealth RT/Twin turbo. Exedy clutch - 240$...
My 1989 Plymouth voyager 5 speed turbo van.. - Luk clutch 70$.. Valeo clutch 90$.
My daily beater 2007 focus hatch. Sachs clutch 160$ Luk clutch 180$.
350z.. . just a stock replacement style OEM brand clutch kit and flywheel.. 600$..

And if you want the best value name brand stock-equivalent clutch: https://www.nissanautosports.com/nis...-2675-prd1.htm
I didn’t ask for an automotive bibliography but thanks anyways.

I think the OP's point is that parts for the z are expensive. Respectfully, quality parts for the z are pricey, but you get what you pay for. You can buy a z relatively cheap, but that doesn't mean parts are going to follow suit.
I would check amazon, I was able to find an Exedy oem replacement clutch/flywheel combo for $434, or you can get the clutch alone for $275, and have the dual mass resurfaced. I recommend getting the combo, because not all shops resurface the DMF, and because it fails eventually anyways. Might as well enhance the driving experience in one go.

Looks like i am ordering
https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-...fk_p_27334.php
with the koyo bearing and "stage 2" disk. and a solid flywheel.
The kit will be just under 500$ with upgrades.
While i have the exhaust off I am going go get the ISR Y pipe.
I like the collector design. it looks to flow decently well compared to some other brands that sort of just dump in together.
https://conceptzperformance.com/isr-...-y_p_30780.php
and a set of resonated cat deletes from ISR as well.
https://conceptzperformance.com/isr-...33_p_40377.php
Thanks for the advice.
