Gas tank and gauge problems
My gas gauge will show empty, and when I go to fill it up it will only hold about 12 gallons and this is after only 200 miles. Then the gauge only goes to halfway full. The last several times that I've put gas in it it has took me 20 minutes just to put in a few gallons. Any thoughts?

It sounds like you have two problems.
1) the gas gauge not reading accurately could be due to a couple things. The fuel level sensor(s) or sender(s) in the gas tank could be bad, dirty, or malfunctioning. Some have had success in cleaning the fuel level sensor, while others have simply replaced it. There are two of them. Another possible issue could be the gauge itself and the soldered connections in the dash circuit board have degraded causing a bad ground or some other electrical gremlin.
2) is the difficulty filling up at the pump because the gas pump keeps shutting off? I think there was a TSB or recall for the shutter valve which may malfunction and only let you fill about half a tank. There was also a TSB/recall on 03-04 models for the fuel filler and vapor hoses since they may crack.
