Probably not with this weather... I refuse to go back to the track when the conditions aren't up to par. I learned my lesson last time.

Man we have the worst dealers in Baton Rouge( I dont know about the one in Prairieville however). I have had to pay for tsb's when the car was under warranty, had them "unable to find the problem" after having my car the entire day ( i took them for a 2 min ride and they saw it immed), scatch the **** out of my car when they had it 2x now, and flat out lied to from Royal and All Star about problems. One of the service managers even told me if there was ANY heat spots on my sports cars clutch he wouldn't warranty my tranny. I hope you guys have better luck/relations than i have. I have a tranny with about 1k miles on it that is like a freight train going into second. They had my car today and "found nothing". It is turbo'd now so it's kind of a mute point.

Yeah you're right... The dealerships out here SUCK period. I'm glad I got most of my things taken care of before my warranty goes out.

LeBlanc's service isn't much better. I refuse to take my car back to them because every time it's been there, they've managed to damage something or they did something stupid.

Question

Do you guys know if there are any shops in BR or the surrounding area that have good tires for the Z in stock, or do I pretty much have to order from tirerack or discount tire? I'm basically looking for anything good that is better than the Bridgestones. Goodyear Eagle F1, Kumho Ecsta MX, BFG KDW, Yokohama AVS or ES100, etc. My stock 225/235 50R17s are almost bald. I think I'll go with 235s all around to make it easier to find something (and I can rotate the tires that way).

I would order them for price reasons. Most places will mount and balance them pretty cheap. I get Airline Auto Center to do mine since they work with a lot of race wheels and what not. Pretty cool guys up there.

Just wanted to say hello to the LA crowd. I just got a PM telling me about this thread. I'm out in Harahan, moving to Metairie within the next 2 months. If everyone gets together let me know - wife and kids permitting - I'm there

Photoshoot probably would take some planning, really hard to find a convenient time for a number of people

Plus you have to pull it all together when the weather is nice.

Picture this - a dozen Z's and a couple dozen Hooters girls.

I know this is such a short notice but I was asked by a friend of mine if I wanted to go to the track tonight. I'll be heading to NPR tonight if anyone other Z's want to roll there tonight. Always up for hanging out. Hoping to beat my best time, would be an awesome birthday present to myself

Hello again, just checking in to see who's here or claiming to be around here.

Just got Lola back from the mechanic and soon it will be off to paint.

Just passed thru BR last Friday. Not a pretty situation there with traffic. Eww!!
