what to do in Biloxi, MS
My girl & I are making a trip to Biloxi, MS this month for about 3-4 days and we were trying to find things to do online. I was wondering if anyone could give any ideas where we could go... shopping, eatting, site seeing, things to do, etc. We just want to tourist it up.
So far i think were going to check out
1. The Redding House
2. Beauvoir Mannor
3. Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art
Any ideas help. Thanks!

Since the hurricane it has been pretty dead. You can come to The Isle of Capris Casino and let me valet your Z though. Me and another member on here work there. Just like Jamie said the only thing to do is go to the casinos, the outlet malls are nice, but not many good stores.

We should get a place where we can all meet up later Saturday night as an official Z meet. I was trying to get that all set up but not alot of people seemed interested in having a meet.

I spent my entire vacation in the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock casino, lol. It was awesome and I came out ahead and got free food the entire time!!! The buffet in the Beau Rivage has the best food of anywhere I have ever eaten!

Go eat dinner at my good friend's restaurant - Mary Mahoney's.
Get the presidential platter (fried blue crab), and the steamed crab
claws. Go for lunch, cause dinner's pricey. Def stay at the Beau as
everywhere else... bleh. Say hi to batman at the 2-5 nl game there
(he's a cut up for 80). The steakhouse at the Beau is great. Have
Kai serve your meal, and don't miss the tempura lobster tail and
tuna tartare. I mostly exercise, eat and play poker when I stay,
so my advice is tilted (pun) in that direction. The best party is
poolside Friday/Saturday nights at the Beau too. There are nice
botiques in town and an awesome hand-made doughnut shop which
name I cannot recall. The watermelon bubble tea at the Grand (noodle
counter near the mini-bac/pai gow gaming room) is literally not to
be missed, and outclasses most I've enjoyed the world over...
I am a sucker for Biloxi. And yes, the area's never quite been the
same since the storm. I've been playing at the Beau and other casino's
since 1994. Actually played my first hand of 2-4 limit EVER at the old
Grand, god rest her soul.

The museum is pretty good if you like art. Also, there is a good sized outlet mall in Gulfport at the SW intersection of Hwy 49 and I-10.
IMHO, the only casino to stay/play in is the Beau. Hard Rock is great too, but I've never been in their hotel.
I doubt that Beauvior is open again, but I may be wrong.
Check out any events (besides Scrapin' the Coast) that may be going on at the Coliseum.
hmmm.... if I think of something else I'll let you know.

after talking with a few local guys they said the museum, redding house, and the beauvior mannor are all closed due to Katrina. I know my girl and i really want to have a good time but it looks like we'll be going to the car show and thats it. I think she alredy made reservations at Hard Rock.
