Who the hell are you? I have seen you post ridiculous statments in several of my threads. So go away.

The car has been running for weeks.

Josh, we had a fun time...went to that after HIN party and the COMPOUND. Nice place!

Two fellas in a black Crossfire hit me up for a race. I told them $500 and we ran out to the freeway, but I think they were full of crap...and just exited and bailed before we even raced. He told me he had some "stuff" in his engine. Only thing I saw was a faux V12 badge on the front fender.

Do you have to be 18 to go/get in to HIN?

Nope...all ages. For HIN Charlotte, I brought me 13yo neighbor and his buddy. They were in heaven..to say the least! :D

slick099 May 16, 2005 06:07 PM

Where and what time will this be? Can anyone enter their car? If so, how much?

POPA 350z May 16, 2005 07:58 PM

Cool I heard about that party. That place is one of the best clubs in ATL specially on thursday nights Latin nights....

I went to a little ricer meet and raced turboed civic and called it a night...

I'll see you down here for HIN I'll be going after 6 pm

Yes, anyone can enter, as long as you have a clean car, and some kind of basic modification. It just can't be bone stock. A simple exhuast, and airfilter, and you qualify! :D Clean and shiny is the name of the game.

The roll in is usually on Friday afternoon/night, and the show starts at 5pm on Sat, and runs until Midnight. Cost is usually $50 and that includes a show car entry, and two people.

General admission, with a show car entry, is $25.

Here is a link of anyone needs more info: http://www.hotimportnights.com/calendar.asp

That's probably true now with only two weeks to go, but if you enter early enough you can get just about anything in the door. Last year, we saw several cars which just barely had primed bodykits hanging on as well as some very plain looking cars. There is no filter during the registration process to check if a car is modded or not. So those that enter early can get anything in. When the show is almost full, they start requiring spec sheets on your car to grant special late entry approval.

Also, Sharif, hopefully it won't be that way this year, but last year the Atlanta show was much smaller/less spectacular than the Charlotte show. Based on what you told me about Charlotte this year, I hope that cannot be the case again.

Sharif@Forged May 17, 2005 10:31 AM

Very true. I honestly though the quality of the cars was better at HIN Atlanta last year, vs. Charlotte this year. Granted, Charlotte was larger, but there was very little excitement, and Charlotte had about 75% normal and stockish looking cars. Very few high end show cars.

I guess we'll see about Atlanta.

Sure you wont reconsider attending? I can have you car transported down there if you want. :) I plan on having a DJ and some very beautiful girls dancing around my car. :D

mcduck May 17, 2005 12:31 PM

we can talk at ZDayZ. Can't rule out a road trip. I just don't know how tight my schedule will be for Memorial Day weekend.

slick099 May 17, 2005 08:22 PM

I'm not sure I understand the process of roll in. I read the FAQ's on the HIN site. But I'm not sure I understand what will go on, what the prizes are etc...

tig488 May 18, 2005 05:33 AM

i wish i wasnt on call, there is a large group from here going. but im stuck here.

Baumer May 18, 2005 07:17 AM

I'm planning on being there armed with my digital camera - bring on the dancing girls!
