Beddow and Audiblemayhem - are you guys going to Roebling in June? I signed up and got a room. If you are going - we can share the room together to cut down on cost. I booked the room close to the track - La Quinta hotel, nicer area than the Red Roof Inn that we stayed at last week.

No certification for HPDE, just need certication to run solo or time trials. You just choose what group you want to run based on the number of track events you have been at with an instructor. If and when the instructor thinks you are ready, then you can drive solo.

I think there is a thread on how to fit 4 tires inside a Z. I don't know how, as I have a trailer for the tires to go on.

It's actually three inside, one on top using a ski rack

Jeremy... do you have a vehicle that will tow? If so, why not rent a trailer from U-haul or something?

I remember reading that if you removed the spare tire and plastic from the rear trunk area, you could fit 2 tires back there and two tires in the front passanger seat. We can try it at Gainesville if you want.

Also remember, that for a regualar track event with instructors, you must have the same safety set up for the passanger seat as the driver seat.

Correct. It can be stock setup, as long as it's stock on both sides. For those with harnesses only on the Driver side we recommend that during the HPDE you use the stock belts, and if you are signed off for solo, then you can use the harnesses as long as they are legal.
