Default Beware Alan Jay Nissan Service in Sebring

Hey guys,
just wanted to give you guys some warning about the service department at Alan Jay Nissan in Sebring. I live in Fort Lauderdale but had a track day last weekend there. While changing my pads for the track, I broke the wheel lock(nissan wheel locks btw)...I then rushed to the dealer to get them to use their master set to remove them. They had one car in front of me that was getting an oil change, so while it drained, the tech removed the locks.

Afterwards, the service writer met me at the cashier and charged me $90 to do the task. It took them less than five minutes. I paid it though because I had to get the track for my session.

When I got home, I called Nissan North America and made the complaint. The passed it to the regional rep who then called the GM at the dealer. End result, the service writer got chewed out supposedly and I got 60% of my money..

I thought it was kinda messed up and thought Id share it with the Z community

most shops have a minimum of a 1hour labor fee.

sure, it is expensive for a simple 5 minute task, but you sure are lucky that they wer open on a saturday.
