OK, that does it. I'm switching!

There are SOOO many more meets/drives for Colorado here than that "other" Z site......I'm switching. I like this site but it is SO HUGE! Anyway my Z has been it the body shop for 5 weeks, ready to take a drive!

There is a drive in May coming up. Glad to hear you'll be getting your car back soo.

Welcome.
|
What shop has your car been at for 5 wks?
|
Welcome aboard. I like the body kit.
|
A place called "Cars Collision Center" It wasn't their fault, I ordered the body kit from someone that has a shop that belongs to the "other site", probably here too. It wasn't packed to well inside box, was damaged, UPS picked up returned to the guy. He couldn't really replace so I had to go somewhere else. What sux is though it is now between him and UPS, he's making ME wait til HE gets HIS money back. Whether he does or doesn't, I will (says my credit card Co.) I have 25mm rear wheel spacers coming and the headlight "eyebrows" (AUT) and a mesh grill.

Nice!

Welcome to the site! Now you've just got to convince the other locals on 350ZMotoring to join you in making the switch.
That's a nice looking kit you've got on there now...hopefully it makes the wait a little easier to have lived with. |

Welcome :)
I guess I've never really thought of this site as "huge" per se. Before I bought my Z, I owned a WRX, and used to frequent Nasioc which had over 100,000 members, that was a "huge" site. If you went into the private for sale section there, it was almost like you had a brand new page of bumped threads every 15 minutes. I was able to part out all my aftermarket parts on there in about a week and a half (VF34 turbo, injectors, fp, turboback, intercooler, built RA tranny, flashed ECU, wheels/tires, sway bars ect). Although the regional forums for this area had no love, I had to turn to AWDpirates.net for anything local. |

Welcome! Actually, I was just looking at 350zM for the first time last week and couldn't help but laugh at the 3-4 threads that make up their entire Southwest sub-forum!
So is your car back? Please post on your experience with "Cars Collision". I will be getting a bodykit installed on my Z when it comes and am looking for locals' feedback on Denver area bodyshops. I have called a few shops so far and have been astonished at how many have ZERO experience in bodykit install! Also, if you don't mind posting (or PMing) the cost, that will be great. I too, look forward to some great group drives this summer. We'll see you around! |
Glad you made the switch... there are far too many Colorado individuals who post here rather than that 'OTHER' site. This is by far the best of the two sites!
