CO: Another Dyno Day at Mac Autosport
I was wondering if anyone is interested in having another Dyno Day at Mac Autosport again? The last dyno day was a blast!!! Met some new people, saw some great numbers, and just had a good time. Mac was really impressed on how easy we made it for them and told me that it was there best dyno day ever! Like to keep it a Z/G35 event just like the last one. Blake you welcome to join us as before. As before I would need at least 10 solid people to sign up before I call Bill to lock a date & confirm the cost. I was thinking the best day is Saturday October 28, three weeks away. Back up date being November 4th, but I need to see if I can get that day off myself first.
For those that have never been to Mac or a dyno day here is some good info from the last one:
So who is interested???
EDIT: This is for Saturday 28 Oct starting at 0900. Three baseline pulls are $49.95!!!
Here is the lastest time sheet:

For those that haven't been there, Bill & Nick are very friendly and very educated in the Z platform. They also have several products for the Z. The dyno is a DYNOJET 248/224 In-ground All-Wheel Drive, Rolling Chassis Dynamometer. Don't quote me on the price but "should" be around $50-60 for 3-pulls w/ air-to-fuel ratio, no tuning. This could be a very fun event with the hope of seeing some awesome numbers. For the new Z owners that haven't started modding yet I highly suggest this. Baseline numbers are a very good to know to see what gains you have achieved and where to go next.

Hey Robert, I'm in, that sounds like way too much fun to pass up on. Plus I am at the beginning of my tuning story, so getting a good baseline out of the way is probably smart. I've only done a c/a intake at this point, so my gains should be minimal. I can do either date, but I think the earlier one is probably better.

okay so help a brother out here. I have never Dynoed before. If they are giving you air/fuel, what can you do with this knowledge? If you find something can be "helped", what do you do? As aleays, I have never wanted to dyno because I know what the numbers will be (+/-) and not much I can do!!! Wish I had that 100 shot system, then I would be down for sure!!!
Give me some reasons!!!

With the A/F its lets you know if you are running too rich or lean. Running too rich or lean can cause problems to you engine. I'm running too rich right now that why I ordered to UTEC. 1) to lean out my A/F a little. 2) To work with the timing to get some extra hp. PLus when you have a baseline (Stock) pull you can compare that to you modded pull to see what gains you get. Sometimes mods accually make you lose power. With you wanting a 100 shot of nitrius you can do a pull w/o the nitrous shot than with to see if you truely gained an extra 100hp. You still can come on down and hang out! There was several that were hanging out and than couldn't resist not knowing how much power they were making. LOL

There is a good chance my G might be there, just finishing up getting it's JWT TT kit installed. I just setup a date (the 18th) for me to drop off the G, and them to start working on it. Hopefully, it will be done at that point!

Dropping it off on the 18th, and then they get to install the JWT kit, and also a UTEC engine management setup, along with some dyno tuning. Not sure how long it will take, though. If it is done by then, I will drive up there that day (the 28th, dyno day), although I doubt I will throw it on the dyno again.
