The plans are open on my table. I want the vortech. My tuner just got signed as a Jim Wolf installer and seller which is somewhat tempting as i hear really good things about that kit. None the less talk about sleeper kit.... Any thoughts? Which do i do come this summer if my raise goes well? (If it doesnt it would be next winter)

I like turbos, so my vote is for the JWT TT kit.

myspivey Nov 15, 2006 07:47 PM

I know, im a big fan as well. The JWT kit seems to be very strong and very stable. My biggest goal being that this is a daily driver so i want the kick of a track car on the platform of a daily. Something that should never be done, yet a lot of us are crazy enough to try it. Reading the install on the JWT and the initial numbers and reviews, im liking it....

hr2burn Nov 15, 2006 07:52 PM

those of you who can't read the obvious, read my sig! I drove a z w/ the same setup.....MEAN!!!

Juztin Nov 15, 2006 07:57 PM

You'll get a kick allright. Regardless if it's JWT/APS/TN/Greddy, it becomes a totally different car here at altitude. Hell even when I was at 6.6psi I was :icon11: all the time :icon38:

That's what I said buddy! LOL we'll see if you have better self control ;) I'll be testing 11.5psi springs here pretty soon, hope to hit 500 :D

Same here, I am waiting until after xmas to order my FI kit, I still cant decide I am leaning toward TN ST... its either that or APS ST or GReddy TT. I just ordered my JWT clutch and flywheel today, next is utec, then cams, headgasket, and fuel! Then the Turbo kit.

saberphx Nov 16, 2006 03:37 AM

Anyone know some good shops to tune my utec/TN kit near Rhode Island? I know a few in CT but I don't know their reputations with Zs.

Robert_K Nov 16, 2006 04:14 AM

Congrats Sean! Let me know when you get it installed. Going with MAC to install/tune???

hr2burn Nov 16, 2006 05:28 AM

Again.....I don't know WHAT you guyz are talking about....
but we will be doing step by step pix....Dependent on how drunk someone keeps us while doing the install :icon8: Nothing like hot tubbing after lying under a car all day! :icon44:
J-man out....
