DON'T GO TO ENCINO AUTO SPA in ventura blvd.

I went there this evening to get my car buffed and went i went home i saw a paint chip the size of my index finger, just and long and just as wide!! i couldn't believe it. i spent 110 dollars and now my newly bought Z has a huge paint chip right on the bumper where the license plate is...i tried to go back but they are closed. i'll try to get them to pay for the repaint on my bumper...but jesus,,,they never even mentioned it to me, like i wouldn't even notice....

this place is right where the exxon mobil station is along ventura. dammit, i'm so mad :icon20: . do you guys know of any reputable body shops in woodland hills?

Not in Woodland Hills, but close

Rich and Famous Autobody.....they helped me keep my redline in great shape I would go there for the smallest things they never really overcharged me for anything and they were pretty fast...

Also had good luck at McAllisters Body Shop....they repainted my bumper when I picked up the car from the dealer it was damaged during shipping...

These numbers are in the phonebook or online yellow pages...

Good Luck

thanks...as expected they denied it was their doing that chipped the paint even though when i took it to other auto body shops they were certain the damaged was from a buffer.....these guys at that car wash are real winners...

Yeah, carwashes suck.. I never went to them except for ONE time, when I got lazy.. and that ONE time, is all it took. They ruined my volks, put some abrasive on the clearcoats. It took about 5 visits to finally get them to give me some money, albiet I only got $1,000. I could have taken them to court or something, but I didn't have the time for that.

i buff the car myself? i'm not very experienced with a buffer and these people were supposedly in business for 6 years. had i buffed it myself i would no doubt make it even worse...

that why you can use an orbital buffer, or just some zaino and you wont need a buffer

alot of people on here including my self use a product called zaino (they make wax) its very easy to use and needs very little effort at all if any to remove, so you dont really need a "buffer" just some very light elbow grease will do. here is the link check it out this stuff is awsome
