Z's gone T_T

My baby is now gone. I went right over a cliff at Angeles Crest Rd. avoiding an oncoming biker that turned into my lane on a blind turn. Thank god the car is so structrually strong cause I rolled at least twice in the car and went down about 200 feet and walked away with just minor cuts & bruises. Not sure if I'll be getting another one, but I'll still be there for meets. Careful out there guys in the mountains especially on those blind turns.

Wow, you lived through all of our worst fears while riding the canyons!! Glad you are ok, that must have been the scariest moment of your life! I hope everything turns out OK for you.

Do you have any pictures? I want to see how the car held up after rolling.

ActionJackson Nov 26, 2005 06:58 PM

no, no pictures, but the front bumper was tore off, the passenger side tire was pushed into the body frame, and the roof was caved in about half way on the passenger side but driver side was pretty much ok.

Wow, I am so sory to hear that. :( ......Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

BhashaZ Nov 26, 2005 08:45 PM

Damn Jackson, that sux to here bro! :( I'm glad you made it out okay though...and to think, we just had the cruise like last week! Was anyone else in your car? Were you cruising with other cars? I was actually going to be going yesterday to Angeles Crest, but didn't make it out...

Anyways, good to hear that you're not hurt. Hopefully you'll get another one, but if not, still come out to the meets :o

Phatmitzu Nov 26, 2005 09:01 PM

Holy cow...

Angeles Crest is not a good place. I hit a guard rail a while ago on there too. Almost went off the cliff too, if it wasnt for the guard rail. I almost sh!t my pants.

Glad to hear that you didnt get hurt in the accident.

Is insurance gonna cover it?

ActionJackson Nov 26, 2005 09:16 PM

Nobody was in the car, my sister was riding in my friend's STI at the time thankfully. Not sure about insurance, claims adjuster will probably call me in a few days. I do have full coverage though.

Rickdogg Nov 27, 2005 01:05 AM

OMG that sucks! It is good to hear that you are okay :) Are you sure you don't want another Z? Come out to the meets! :D

marks350Z Nov 27, 2005 04:41 AM

Glad you are o.k. Sorry to hear about you car...that had to be extremely scary. Good luck on the quest for a new car!

ActionJackson Nov 27, 2005 07:27 AM

Heh, I do want another Z, whether or not my parents would approve however... haha. It saved my life once though, so I wouldn't have any problems with another ^^. Might have to wait a year or two to get another one though to save up enough of a down to make payments affordable.

Mike Wazowski Nov 27, 2005 12:43 PM

damn Jackson, glad you are ok, sorry for your loss though.

Ed 718 Nov 27, 2005 01:13 PM

No way Jackson seems like just yesterday we were tearing the streets of Oceanside and San Diego.....I see it this way a car can be replaced but a human life can not. I'm glad to at least see your posts and you are ok.

mrtomcat Nov 27, 2005 05:34 PM

that's horrible. I'm glad you're ok. Those damn bikers always do that. That's why I don't do Canyon Runs anymore
