Anyone have Bluebatmobile's overlays on?

Was wondering if anyone has Bluebatmobiles overlays? The 3/10 smoked full headlight ones and the 3/10 smoked full taillight ones. I would like to see them in person before I order them. Thanks!

why not tint it? look MUCH better. Shiny too. Overlay looks so dull. Compare that overlay and the tint one. ;)

I had bat's overlays on my Z, it does look dull especially in direct sunlight. I had my window tint guy install them... I'd probably do regualr window tint next time instead of vinyl.

Nice pics Bubble.

you have to sand it down and spray it. Regular window tint WILL NOT WORK. :)

Regular tint is not meant for being affixed on exterior of the car... they will come off (slide off) easily after a rain or a car wash. I personally like Blue Bat's overlays. I have one of the first batches that he sold so they are two pieces but I believe he has one piece overlay that covers the entire tail light.

These pix are taken long time ago.... me and Tom. :D

Does any body have the blue-tint bat's overlays for the front?

you can't use regular "window tint". When saying "tint" here, it means you sand down the tail light, spray special paint and clear coat so you can have the permanent glossy look.

In addition, you can control how dark you want it to be. If you want light, just spray few coats. If you want completely dark, just spray the whole can. :)

there is a guy out here in az that comes to ur house and uses the same material that is used for clear bra's. he has many colors and diffent % of tints u can use. i have my tails, rear blinkers, and front reflectors done and it looks just as glossy as the first day i got it.

My comment was geared toward post #7.

I'd probably do regualr window tint next time instead of vinyl.
In any case, if you do get pulled over and get a fix it ticket, it's easier to fix the smoked tails with a attached overlay than spray paint. After you take spray paint off (sand it off), your tail lights will look dull due to the coarse and sanded surface.
