80's bars in the area
 

ive been wanting to go to an 80's new wave bar but dont know of any. bar or lounge is fine, hopefully they play some good groups like The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Tears for Fears, Psychadelic Furs etc . . . .

Theres a place on wilshire in Santa Monica. I forget the name, but its a white building. If you get off the 405 at wilshire and drive towards the ocean, you'll see it on your left side. Theres usually a bunch of people milling around outside.

They have 80s cover bands play and pretty much play only 80s stuff.

I think its called "Club 2020"

Hahahhaha. Man I haven't heard anyone mention New Wave other than myself in a while hahaha. Man the crap my older siblings exposed me to! :eek:

I'll ask Harley's sister. She goes to 80's clubs all of the time

gas lamp in long beach has an 80's band play every friday night. I haven't been but my friends g/f loves it. Good music and good scene.

thanks for the heads up guys, im definitely going to look into those, just me and some of the other guys i hang out with dig 80's and Adam Sandler movies especially the Wedding Singer and Click happens to incorporate the good songs into them

there's also a hip hop room in the back..just in case you run into someone that you know there...you can just play it off that you're there for that instead..:icon17:
