Jeff@WestCovinaNissan May 15, 2007 02:45 PM

Hey Ron... we'll see if I can bring the crew up on the 1st or 2nd. Don't want to miss this.

35TH ANY May 15, 2007 02:49 PM

I went to this several times years ago. It's a great time. I can remember shooting clays, a 50 cal rifle etc... What I didn't think was cool was that they served alchohol. Alchohol & guns?

Mr Twisted May 15, 2007 06:04 PM

I recall many years ago when Budwiser was a sponsor, beer was available after all the guns were put away but never during the event. I've done this event for 7 years now.

Mr Twisted May 15, 2007 06:11 PM

Mr Twisted May 16, 2007 08:22 PM

Swing over to see Jeff tomorrow

I'll give him a bunch of discount tickets and flyers for those interested.

Blu_Blur May 17, 2007 07:14 AM

Can you walk around armed?

Alos, how much 'activity' can you do meaning, if you were to do some clay shooting, can you only fire about 25 rounds\shells and have to move of the line to let other people shoot?

I would very likely go if I could actually shoot as if I had went to a range or park AND get to check out some cool stuff AND meet some new people.

Mr Twisted May 17, 2007 09:55 AM

No this is a cold range, and the General public may not bring in firearms. The only guns there belong to the exhibitor, but you should have about 2000 to chose from.

I'm not sure the policy is on the Shotgun range but in our (SSA) booths as long as you have tickets ,you can shoot. We supply the guns. the ammo and the best part, you don't have to clean the guns afterwards.

Jeff@WestCovinaNissan May 17, 2007 11:50 AM

Hey Ron... saftey gear we should bring?

Korki Buchek May 17, 2007 06:15 PM

I love that women and children are free. That is awesome, don't ever change it.

Mr Twisted May 17, 2007 10:51 PM

We have loaners but if you have your owm eye wear and hearing protection all the better.

Blu_Blur May 18, 2007 10:06 AM

How many stations at the clay shooting venue and is it skeet or trap?

Mr Twisted May 18, 2007 10:09 PM

I'm not sure what they have set up but it's generally Sporting clay and 5 stand Make sure you get back to the rear pistol bays

Mr Twisted May 21, 2007 10:52 AM

Big Show in 2 weeks Now.

Things are looking great. Lots of 50 BMG's, MP 5's and the weather will be perfect. If your really interested the Cowboy"s (SASS) the weekend before May 25,26 & 27 th, will be having a "Big Cowboy Shoot" to celebrate the 100th birthday of John Wayne. This should be interesting to see.

Hope to see a lot of you out there.
