So me, my roommate and our other friend decide to go out to PB Saturday night. We're walking down the strip around 12:30AM and all of a sudden, I hear a guy in the group behind us say 'coon'.

I'm thinking, okay, he couldn't have just said that. Next thing I hear is 'F'n black people. I can't stands them. Oh my God, I want to fight a n***er tonight! N***er! You hear me n***er?!!!'

His two buddies and girl are laughing.

Well my roommate is black/white but looks Iranian. Our other friend is a black as well. I'm half Asian/half white but look Mexican. The rage is building in me and I'm waiting to get hit in the back or pushed.

Surprisingly, my friends stay silent and don't even acknowledge it. I was waiting on their reaction to see what our next move would be should it come down to it. Nothing more came of it and I think they went into a restaurant/bar.

I cannot believe it and I'm still fuming.

Smart move. That sht doesn't happen in Philly. I would have pulled his B1tch Card in 2 seconds. And White people wonder why we think they're all racist. How often do you see Black people showing there *** like that?

believe me ive encountered alot of racism being an asian american growing up..... i just figure though people are ignorant... its life and theres really nothing much you can do about it...

and in 1995, this wasnt even gang related but this was kind of funny though at the time.....

when i was a devious youngster and my brother was driving... some cholo out of nowhere was like "aye puto wassup ese", we're like uhh... okay... hes like F*ck Chinos !!!! we're like wassup? hes like wassup putos !!! f*ck Chinos !!! we're like is that right, my bro's homie pulled out a sawed off 12 gauge and hes like "nah holmes, wrong person, i thought was someone else" i came out of the car with my brothers friend the cholo ran behind a tree, we got his school books and threw it all across the street and we spit on him a few times, he was scared shiftless


im not saying do that but i mean people do get a taste of their own medicine... in the end whichever action you do take it isnt worth it, just let ignorant people be ignorant.... someone will serve them up proper if its not you they will push the wrong buttons of someone more nuttier

okay just like everyone else said racism will always be among us but how you deal with it is you as well by saying " and white people wonder why we think theyre all racist" which is what someone said further up int he thread, that is racial profiling in itself and white people are not the only racists.

i honestly shrug off racism if you let it get to you then in my mind you are letting them win 99% of people who would say a racist a comment are bitches usually all you have to do is call their bluff they think its cool to be racist.

Hmm, all the racism I've experienced came from white people...Not saying all white people are racist, just something I've encountered.

 

ive experienced racism from whites, blacks, latinos, middle eastern, indians and even other asian folks

RACISM comes in all shapes and sizes it doesnt discriminate........

dont worry about it they probably have a small **** and are just bitter at the world.....

there is always alot of reverse discrimination too and there are also instances people pull out the race card and are overly sensitive....

so dont trip keep your head up you, you probably have alot more going for you then them.....


from my experiences growing up fighting as a "troubled kid" and now, fighting doesnt solve anything, there will always be a$$holes in the world you cant fight them all and in the end whats the point of the fight where you're older when it only results in a lawsuit and a felony......

everyone carries some type of racism in them, but to take it to that extent is wrong. People like that will go no where in life. You split that crowd up into individuals and not one of them would have said a single word. That's what seperates the boys from the men.
