There's a lobster/shrimp restaurant there (can't remember the name) that kicks ass! I am so jealous.

Cool. I looked up on the web, does it call "Rocking Baja Lobster"?

Old Town kind of sucks.

Rocking Baja Lobster is down in the Gaslamp between Petco Park and the convention center. It's pretty decent, but pricey for what you get.

If you're down here, I normally recommend sushi and/or fish tacos. Traditional sushi, go to Sushi Ota; trendy sushi, Ono Sushi; fish tacos, South Beach Bar & Grill; burgers, Ho-Dads. Hillcrest is the "gay" area, but has lots of good restaurants too.

I like El Agave in Old Town. It has the largest tequila selection in the United States. There's also Harney Sushi...kind of upscale and expensive, but its good.

+1. A little pricey but worth it. The duck is quite good...
