HOT...Hot...hOt...hoT...hot

This weather is crazy.
It's 11:45 p.m and the temperature is still like 85 degree in Irvine.

I was at my parent in-law's house today in santa ana (10 miles from the beach). It was bad. It reached 105 F in the afternoon and there was no A.C in the house  Can't imagine how hot it is in inland areas.

I have a feeling this summer is going to be brutal in S. California.

michaeljr6 06-21-2008 10:57 PM

105 is meh...a norm for texas in august

xebotwinturbo 06-21-2008 10:59 PM

oh yeah...i've been to Austin, Dallas and Houston during the summer and it's bad...Main reason why i'd never live there.

xtasy127 06-21-2008 11:04 PM

lol. you think thats bad. i left my car outside yesterday and i drove my friends car around. I got into it today at 12. I read the temp on the car it said 120. I sat there wondering what i should burn my hands with first. The steering wheel or the shift knob.

calin 06-21-2008 11:05 PM

I feel sorry for people in AZ. But ya last night in anaheim was around 88 degrees at 10PM when I went to 711!!!! I went in shorts and a tshirt and I was still HOT!!

DaytonaRoadster 06-21-2008 11:06 PM

**** its nice here in the ATL, round 84, usally in the summer its over 97
i love global 'warming'

knucklez 06-21-2008 11:07 PM

xtasy127 06-21-2008 11:12 PM

i think if you let the car sit in the sun long enough and you dont leave a little bit of gap in your window i think it can get that hot inside. its like an oven :O

michaeljr6 06-21-2008 11:14 PM

finalforce 06-21-2008 11:35 PM

Dang it gets pretty high in your guys area. I live up the hill in the HD near the mountains and it gets hot but its dry, not humid so its not as bad. I went to LA and OC the other day and after five minutes outside of the car I already needed to change my shirt! After returning to my family car, it was blazing hot inside. The heat is getting really bad.

Tatelasteil 06-21-2008 11:36 PM

...but its not much better when youve got an AC that sucks. Even when its on the room is still burning hot. Warm weather is fine..but not when it gets ridiculous when its around 100+ degrees. Summer heat FTL :icon20:

35oZephyR 06-22-2008 10:12 AM

I don't even want drive anywhere with the Z in this weather. Leather seats, metal knob...

Gave my hydrophobic dog a cold bath this morning, and for the first time EVER, the little fugger stood still ...enjoying it.

bluezup 06-22-2008 10:43 AM

^same thing happen with me this morning

Zyclone Z 06-22-2008 01:01 PM

Like 70 in my room :) Air Conditioned baby ;)

j.arnaldo 06-22-2008 03:26 PM

New record for Puerto Rico: 108F at Mayagüez (west coast).

momo's 06-22-2008 09:51 PM

personal air conditioning unit = necessity

$100 - $400... bite in the wallet... but atleast I can sleep at night. :D

My room at night during the summer would range from 95 to 100 degrees (thanks to the valley)... now it's around 76 degrees.

Think about it guys, I'd rather sleep comfortable than not sleep at all.

Good point..ive always wanted one of those.

Or you could be cheap like me and wait till 3am where its slightly cooler and stick the fan in front of an open window...

I need one of those small AC's. :icon22:

phileeville 06-23-2008 09:02 AM

I know exactly what you mean. But it's better than being at my Morther-in-laws west of downtown (Silverlake) with no a/c and 95+ degrees.

Btw, don't you park on the second floor of the parking structure outside Macy's? I think I've seen your car there.

iStan 06-23-2008 10:46 AM

Ugh, I was in Del Mar this weekend. Wtf. It was hot and humid.. :( We had AC though :icon17:
