Got to sit in Downey Jr's car today...
 

Audi had a launch event for two new sedans tonight at Oakley HQ (where I work). Apparently Robert Downey Jr hasn't taken posession of his new Audi R8, and they brought it up to show it off, and a few of us got to poke around, pop the "trunk", sit in it, etc. (I'm pretty sure this isn't the Iron Man movie car)

I live about around the corner from the Oakley factory and didn't hear anything about this. But I have seen plenty of other functions - biker rallies and whatnot. 'Course, you can't miss the bikers. :)

i love the r8 sooooooooo much........ if you're nice to the guys at rusnak audi in pasadena they'll let you poke around their r8s.

Nice, I notice Audi has pitching their brand in a lot of events and movies lately (can't miss them).. almost annoying.

Oakley HQ is a sweet looking building for ppl who haven't seen it. I work down the street from you guys by the Western Digital HQ.

Damn the building looks more interesting than the car.

It was a private event for Audi. There were just a few signs to direct traffic.


Yeah, tiptronic. I'm pretty sure they all are. Same with Ferrari and Lambo.


Yeah. The lobby is. There's an Oakley store in there, too, and you can check out all of our promo vehicles in the parking lot.... a bunch of dodge trucks, a lowrider ram, a pair of F650s, all decked out in Oakley designs. :)

thats one hot car.likin the A5/S5 too. was there weeks back and bought me radar path's. oakley is hidden away up there. unique architecture
