I'm new to the area, could u guys help me out?

I'm gonna make this as short and simple as possible.

When I first bought my Z I took it back to the dealership over and over again because I bought it used with a racing clutch in it. Truthfully after driving several Z's and being a Nissan sales rep I knew something didnt feel right. So the dealership ended up paying for my clutch kit. The only thing they wouldnt pay for is labor (which of course costs more).

Well that all happened back in Philly but I just moved out to Fullerton about 5 months ago. And I don't know any decent shops around here. So I was wondering if u guys could suggest some spots. There's actually a couple of things I'm looking for and if u guys could help I'd really appreciate it.

1. A decent shop that wont rip me off and will do my clutch.

2. A decent used tire place. I need a new spare.

3. Any chill spots where I should check out (yea im over 21).

All hopefully in the Fullerton area.

Thanks.

i usually go to performance nissan for my maintenance needs or i have a personal mechanic up in rosemead....(PM me if you want their info)

what is somewhat near you which i did hear good things about is "Corner 3 Garage" theyre under the 949 area code shops...

not sure about used tire shops..... but folks usually hit up Status for tires.. but im pretty sure you can find some local tire shops for used tires around your neighborhood since you are looking for "used"...

i dont know if these places are still around but im pretty sure probably "rockin taco" in downtown fullerton or theres a bar called 330 in Brea.... only 2 places which come to mind in that area but since your in fullerton downtown should have hella spots.....

or theres always hollywood if youre up for the drive.... hope i somewhat helped you out

Rockin' Taco is still there... definetly check out downtown Fullerton, there's about 6 bars within a 3 block radius, lol.

Slide bar in Fullerton is decent.

Also, if you're looking for a reputable shop/dealership to take it to hit up where I work. Surf City Nissan talk to Jeff or Chris prior. 714-500-6000

Used Tires: You can shop the Big O Tires and Discount Tire stores for used tires. Many of them will have a few in stock but may not always be the size you require.

Points of Interest:
1. Angeles Crest Highway - Good, twisty mountain cruise location. ;)
2. Hustler Club - Off the 22 fwy & Garden Grove blvd. Fun joint; bring singles$$
3. The Block in Orange - Off the 22 fwy & State College Blvd; bring pedobear!
4. Irvine Spectrum - Between the 5 & 405 merger in Irvine. Similar to The Block.

Sorry, I don't know of any night clubs any more...

Rockin taco is no more. They were intermittently closed for awhile, but now I believe they're closed for good. Lately DTF has been pretty weak in general.

Ummmm all I've got to say is avoid the High Desert area, it sucks, and there's not much to do here.

Performance Nissan quoted me 3k for a tranny swap (dealer pricing)
corner 3 was much cheaper. Also Hit up Pfunk.. he's got connections. Shop around.. a lot of reputable places here.
