So i woke up this morninging and my dad told me my car was egged!! damn!@!!111$@@!! sooo basically there was about 5-6 eggs that hit the car with dead aim and a few that jus barly missed. so i went and got a car wash immediatly but i guess it was still too late the damage was done! there is about 4 paint chips/swirls due to the eggs:mad::mad::mad:

So is there anyway to fix the swirls? ill get some pix up tomarrow!

Damn bro that sucks so bad. I know one way is to get an exterior detail. You need a high speed buffer and this stuff(forgot the name) that takes awy a small layer of paint so all imperfections go away. Need pics

henry j 01-08-2009 07:23 PM

ill get some pix up tomarrow! i got a $30 car wash this morning that was the worst car wash i have everr gotten! i should have saved that and put it towards the detail! but the swirls look terrrible!

haeshik 01-08-2009 07:24 PM

hit up john aka john1c, he should be able to help you out

I know teh owner of this detailing shop close to my house that does all teh details for the Auto Gallery and they do amazing work. Go there and they will take care of you. Good Luck

Damn those bastards! Hopefully, the cost associated with the damage is not too much.

jubes 01-08-2009 08:00 PM

I feel you bro, I've had my car egged a couple of times.. it sucks... :(

A.H 01-08-2009 08:36 PM

Why would someone egg your car? Do you think it was someone you knew or just some kids that were messing around?

henry j 01-08-2009 08:42 PM

I really wouldnt be able to tell you... i live on a mainstreet too so i dont think it was just by accident, it was more like they came, they stopped they aimed and they drove away. wait for pix and you guys will feel my pain

thanks, was there any damage to your paint?

datboijon 01-08-2009 08:51 PM

sorry to hear that bro that happened to my old car once on halloween.
not to be too far off topic but what price range do ext. details usually run?

henry j 01-08-2009 08:55 PM

im not sure i think it depends where you go.. could be from 60-120 bux. just an ext will be cheaper though

MrXGuzzy 01-08-2009 10:07 PM

wow thats a jende....

beautiful nerd 01-08-2009 10:21 PM

why do people do this? this is not only immature and a major pain in the a$$, but this kinda stuff costs money to fix. I swear people think money grows on trees these days.

I saw some kids put a glass bottle behind someone's tire at a movie theatre. I walked up, picked up the glass bottle, and threw it away. Tires aren't freakin' cheap.

Some people need to learn the value of a dollar.

Sorry about your car.

Same here, the HAND CAR WASH guys are horrible. I could do a way better job with less time, way less money and twice better results!!! If you're not equipped with one of those meguiars dual action polisher get one! It's really a good investment to get your car detailed once in a while (1 per 3months/6 months at the latest/ although it only requires to detail car 1 a year/depends location/weather etc.etc.).

Swirlex from meguiars are also good, but I've been using TURTLE WAX POLISHING COMPOUND to remove swirls (PREP), then the TURTLE WAX CLEANER (WAXING PHASE), then I follow it with the TURTLE WAX PLATINUM PASTE WAX, then finish it off with the TURTLE ICE SYNTHETIC LIQUID DETAILER. Then I use the TURTLE ICE SYNTHETIC WAX every after carwash (1 a week) then follow it off with the detailer...

also go to www.asianwolf.com they have some spy cams there to get those bastards sent straight to jail!

Yeah, there was.. damn egg shell chipped a piece of paint :(

but I'm not going to pay 300+ to repaint my door just for a tiny micro chip of paint...

but I still feel violated with the chip.. :(

Shoot the b@stards:mad:

A.H 01-09-2009 01:34 AM

^^^If it's really small and bothers you, you could try touch up paint

jubes 01-09-2009 07:15 AM

you know its not the same Arsh... :(

m0nkie 01-09-2009 08:12 AM

Maybe we can all meet up and get a group discount for paint chips :dunno:

Took my car up to Azusa the other night and came down with 3 rock chips... one size of my pinky nail :(
