Question for people who've shipped rims to other states

Need some experience from those who have sold wheels in the marketplace. How much has it typically cost to ship out rims to say... Texas or New Jersey?

I shipped my track rims out of state with the tiredon them. Fed Ex was the cheapest, however, you have to wrap them yourselves either they will ship them in boxes and it will cost a lot. I paid around $100 for all 4 rims and tires shipped via Fedex.

Like I said all I did was wrap them real well in cardboard and lots of tape.

Just wrap one real good and take it to the Fed ex store, they will give you a price shipped or just give them a call, they may have shipped some recently! One last thing be sure and insure the wheels!

Depends on the weight and how they are packed...if they are wheels alone in boxes, they shouldn't be too bad. When I shipped my Iforged 20's from Texas to Florida...it came out to $160...and that was with tires. When I shipped some Volks from Texas to New Jersey, it was $110 for just the wheels. If you can ship them from a business...the price is typically better...good luck sir!

If you are shipping with tires...definitely package them up before sending them off.
