Missing Person, Nancy Salas - Glendale, CA
My friend at work got a call yesterday that his friend went out for her daily run in the morning, and never returned. The police started a search yesterday afternoon, and so far nothing. If you guys can pass this link around, I'm sure the family would appreciate it.
Thanks for your help, Zack http://www.ladigitalphoto.com/nancy/...970c-250wi.jpg http://www.ladigitalphoto.com/nancy/...as_Update.html |
Good luck in finding her.

how old is she OP?

Glendale, Calif. police are searching for 22-year-old Nancy Salas, who disappeared during her morning run May 12. The woman's parents reported her missing when she didn't return home from her run in Chevy Chase Canyon, north of Los Angeles. Police say Salas's keys, phone and car were left at her home. Anyone with information about Salas should contact the Glensdale Police Department at 818-548-4911. Good luck. |
Yeah, she's 22... looks a lot younger though. I don't know her personally, but a friend I work with is real close to her family and has been a mess since yesterday. Just trying to help get the info out there.
Thanks everyone! |
did you post this in the SoCal section too? It might get more traction there.
|
Great idea, thanks!

Seen this on the national news today. Hope all works out and she is found ok.
|
I was reading up on this and she(according to this article) apparently lied to her parents about going to UCLA
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lano...olice-say.html Regardless I hope they find her. |
Saw it on the news this morning. Best of luck - IF, and I really hope that it's just an IF, some bastard did something to her that they find him and kill him. Rapists and murders don't deserve much more than death.

Did you check the For Sale section?
|
Hope she is ok, and hiding at a boyfriends house or something.

OP I can't push it enough for woman to learn basic self defense. I always ride my wife about it. The smallest of knowledge can make the biggest difference. I hope she ran off with her BF or something else along those lines. |
She (apprantely) lied about attending the last 2 years at UCLA and was supposed to graduate this upcoming month. Hopefully, she is staging her own disappearance.
|
+1 Would really strange if someone had taken her considering she was living a lie already. She probably doesn't want to be found.
|
Thanks everyone! still waiting to confirm, but it looks like they found her alive and well. I'm sure the details will come out shortly. Thanks again for all the support!

OK she has been found - hmmm... would've been much better if she had just told her parents, now the whole country knows about it.
On the plus side, she looks like she could be top heavy. |
I agree (with both statements). I'm curious to hear the details. From the police searching and the news coverage, to friends and family worrying and passing out flyers... there's going to be a lot of people upset with her, and a lot of explaining to do.

she is found.
