Anybody know a good Chinese's seafood place in OC?
I usually go to LA for Chinese's seafood but I made some plans this weekend in OC so I don't want to drive back and forth. Thanks everyone I really appreciated all POSTIVE comment. LOL

Hey! I know a decent place... In Costa Mesa on Harbor. Golden Dragon (I think?) or somethign like that. I will follow up... I have their menu at home.
I like them because the owner is a Chinese man who grew up in Korea. So he knows how to make Korean-influenced Chinese dishes as well. I order stuff that's not on the menu...! |
Thanks man, please help get their info or something.
Come on people, anymore ideas??? -Robert |
Don't you have Sam Woo in OC?

Lao ya anyone in MPk,Alh or SG good seeing you at Stillen. Just got in before the Rains man.. Good dyno numbers you got their , whats next. I'm convinced the cold rainy weather hurt our numbers. There is a Sam Woo in Irvine? How is it compare to SGV?
ohhh well thanks everyone for your input. I had a change of plan on the weekend and went out to eat in SGV. Killed my pocket but it was worth it. Shark Fin soup, bake crabs and walnut shrimps. :D yumm :note to self: must work overtime now to pay my credit card bill |
By the way, I finally got the info for that place I mentioned. It's Golden Dragon Restaurant, 2023 Harbor Blvd.
Sam Woo in Irvine is pretty good. I think the SGV is alot better though... |
Thanks BullishZ, I will keep that in mind. So it is a 50/50 Chinese/Korean resturant right?
|
Hey guys, I have a friend that has a Chinese restaurant in Laguna Hills, OC. They serve some seafood... try his place out some time... Mandarin Terrace, 24291 Avenida De La Carlota. Kevin, the owner, is a good guy. He'll definitely treat you right. ;)

Man, I could seriously discuss food/restaurants all day long!
There's another joint in Irvine directly off I-5 (Culver exit) called Seafood Noodle House (located in a large shopping center with many other ethnic restaurants). They offer items similar to Sam Woo's but they are about $1.50-$2.50 cheaper for any given entree and the food is quite good. On the weekends, they're open until 11:00 or midnight and the place has a laid back vibe. Also, I'm not certain but I think Heinekens (a must with Hong Kong grub) are only 2 bucks. The last time I ate there, I witnessed about 5 random people ordering shark fin soup to go-that's usually an indication that you're at the "right" place. |
DAWG!!! HIT UP CHINATOWN RESTAURANT IN IRVINE!!!!
its so damn good, everyone there is like...hardcore Chinese, best Chinese food this side of...well Mr Chow's in LA. hah take the 405 s to the 73 s. Exit Marcarthur, take a left on Bonita Canyon, follow that down until it becomes Culver, then take a left on Campus, and when you see an In N Out on your right, head into that parking lot, its in the back. |
