I'm moving to San Diego
 

Will be moving there for approximately 6 months.
Anyone know of a good place to rent please let me know.
Also if you can reommend a good place for night life it would be appreciated.

la jolla is a nice place to live... kinda pricey but nice.

The gaslamp district is a cool place to go..

Cool. SD is about 2 hours from LA.

I assume your Z is coming with you.

The Gaslamp District pretty much is the night life there.
I only visited there once for a week-end.
The Zoo is awesome.

Hook up with us(the SoCal Crew) sometime for a meet.
We should have a few of them in the next six months.

You definitely want to check out LA.

You can live downtown or Mission Valley(which is a little cheaper but bad traffic). Be prepared to pay premium $$$ for gas if the price continues to trend upwards.

Pacific Beach is another place to party besides downtown(Gaslamp). Thats basically the 2 hot spots in SD. As for rent, where in SD are you working? Thats gonna be the main factor.

I have a nice cottage coming available next week in Pt. Loma, which would be about a 20 minute drive to Chula Wanna with no traffic and up to 40 minutes with traffic.

It is right between the two party places mentioned of Pacifc Beach and Downtown's gaslamp.

I honestly would not recommend moving your Z to Chula Vista! it might go south without you and you'll never see it again :D

There are nice areas of Chula Vista, as long as you find a place w/ a garage you'll be alright.

How far is that place from Chula Vista?

Welcome to the area ... kind of ..(I am not technically there yet :p )

I am moving there this Sunday, wohoo! Finally.

Anyways, just meet up with the 3FiveZeroZ guys and you will have a great time. I made a "househunting trip" out there and met up with the guys, they were even let me bring along my rental car, the Blue Lightning. hehe Anyways, they are a great bunch of guys out there. Just start posting on these boards and you will get to know some people, then when ya get here ...take em to Hooters, and you have a friend for life, lol.

Good luck in your move and I will look for ya when you get out here.
