Zizzle's Beach Cruise June18th

Our merciful Z God, Zizzle, has come down from heaven to speak with his prophet ZizzlemyNizzle.

Zizzle has declared a Beach Cruise be set for June 18th!

Why? Because our Z's should be out in the sun near the beach and beautiful women! :icon38:

Zizzle's Event:

Z Meet&Greet: 12pm@Starbucks on Post Oak&Westheimer (huge parking lot next to Starbucks)

Z Beach Cruise: 1:15pm(if you are running late PLEASE call me or one of the ZCruise Supervisors)
....cruise to Galveston's East Beach for Playboy's sponsored Bikini Contest at 3pm!

East Beach will be having the Bikini Contest at 3pm...and Thongs will be allowed on East Beach! :icon28:

Also, East Beach is the only place on Galveston that allows Alcohol to be consumed...and I don't know about you but our god Zizzle expects a healthy amount of consumption from all Z owners!

We will be able to enjoy the beach after the bikini contest (yes bathrooms/showers are available for those who enjoyed the bikinis too much) till 7pm when the beach closes. They will also be having a frisbee throwing contest(sounds exciting doesn't it  )...but we can enjoy the beach too. I will be going down to East Beach this weekend to do some recon work so we will have all details figured out before we leave.

Now I will be renting a house on Crystal Beach for the weekend...our god Zizzle says ZizzlemyNizzle needs a vacation...but should offer a sacrifice of burgers, hotdogs, and BBQ chicken...and we should sprinkle Corona's & Tequila to sanctify it for Zizzle.

So...I will be inviting 20 to 30 people over for a dinner on June 18th. Why not everyone? Well, the house can only hold about 25 people...depending on those who are interested I'm going to rent a house that will 'sleep' 20 people...its a 2-story...on the beach...with a hot-tub and pool table. There is a bigger house that will sleep 25...so if we have a lot of people interested...I can reserve that house at the end of the month. The septic system can only handle the amount of people the house will sleep + a few more ...so I have to limit the dinner list for 25 to 30 people.

The cost for those coming over for dinner and sleepover: $30.00
***obviously this will rely on your honesty***

I will be making a list of all who are interested in coming to the beach house...so I need everyone to RSVP...ASAP...first come-first served basis...however I'm sure there will be a cancellation or two so...I will notify all who have expressed interest, but did not get on the 'V.I.P.' list in time that there is an opening. I will do this in advance of the meet so you can bring what you need to stay.

Once again, those coming over for dinner can stay the night:...I do not want anyone leaving/driving who has been out in the sun all day and fried your mental capacity or simply had too much to drink.

We will of course vacate the premises before 2pm the next day. I will have nothing less then Starbucks coffee in the morning for those that like coffee!

Now for the nitty-gritty:

As fun as this will be, I need to go over some important items!

What you will need to bring:
1.) Your Z(if you don't have one-remember to meditate on one!)

2.) Everything you need for the beach: Clothes!, sunscreen, toiletries(bathroom&showers available on the Beach)

3.) 2-Way radios...this is crucial...we need everyone to try and bring a 2-way for communication between all Z drivers. So we can keep everyone together for the cruise to Galveston and also while on East Beach. (if you have more then one...please bring it for someone who doesn't have one)

4.) Discretion: why? because we all drive fast, faster, and fastest cars...and we do not want to draw unwanted attention. We will go over this before heading out. We want this to be fun, but more importantly we want everyone to be safe. As for the meet...please keep reving engines, blaring music, etc for your driveway...also no burn-outs, 'attempt-to-drift's', etc.!

5.) Make sure everything is current with regards to registration&emissions...also make sure a license plate is visible and where it needs to be.

6.) Camera, lights, Action...if you have a digital camera...BRING IT!...if you can record video...BRING IT! We want pictures and video to post later.

7.) Towels, Towels, Towels especially for those who can't help but say: I'd hit it!

8.) Drinks, Food, etc. Try and bring enough for you and someone else...this way we have plenty to go around...NO GLASS containers!...so cans, plastic ok...bring sodas, bottled water, munchies, and beer(what you like will be fine).

9.) Friendliness: most of us Z owners know each other by now...but just remember to say hello to everyone...offer your name...and enjoy our Club!

10.) Games People Play:...frisbees, footballs, volleyball fields on the beach are available...so if u want to bring an extra one that's fine, they also have an arcade room for our ChuckeeCheese members

Cost!

$7.00 charge for each vehicle to enter East Beach(cut costs and ride with someone if you want)

$xx.xx charge for food, drinks, etc for the beach(also don't forget they have a pavillion that offers sodas, food, beer, ice cream, and other essentials)

$xx.xx for gas

$30.00 for dinner and sleepover at the beach house(this is optional...if you are going...you HAVE to RSVP!...first-come, first-served)

So, anywhere from $30 to $60 is what you will need for gas, food, entry fee for the beach, and for dinner at beach house.
The Ferry is free for those coming over to the house...they run every 20 minutes and after midnight every hour.

**important**
Since there were a LOT of people interested in the Beach cruise...and there will be plenty of time to get the word out...I have 'elected' Mike(MGH), Steve(Frenchy), and Gonzo(Red04350Z) to help supervise the event. We will be helping with info, contact info, meet details, cruise supervision, and beach supervision, etc. If you have any questions feel free to send them a private message or call me directly at 713-392-4890. Mike, Steve, and Gonzo will be posting their contact info shortly.

That sounds like a lot of fun! :) How far or how long would it be if I was coming down from Dallas? I might be game on it! I could use a vacation right about that time of the year! :icon38:

zizzlemynizzle Apr 14, 2005 08:52 PM

from dallas? about 4 hours depending on how you drive=fast/slow.

We are having some Z's from the Dallas area coming down for the meet...you might want to see about a group cruising down. Go over to www.300zxclub.com and join for free...then go to the Local 300ZX clubs and look for Houston Z Clubs forum.

There's another copy of this thread there with a lot of replys + pics of the beach and the bikinis!

We've got Z's from Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio planning on coming out. The house can sleep 30 people...but we're thinking about having everyone over for dinner depending on how many people come. The house is on the 'party' side of Crystal Beach...so there should be enough people around the beach to hide the fact that we have a lot of people in the house.

Hope to see you there!

We also may have a BMW group join us...we did a cruise on the back roads near Houston couple of weeks ago. Good group of guyz.

We'll see!

dallas to houston can be FAST (100mph) if you get in a good pack going down 45... its about a 300 mile drive or so.

bwzabodyn Apr 15, 2005 01:30 PM

I'm probably going to be down for the meet/cruise/some beach time, but the sleepover is a definite no-go... wifey just wouldn't have it, so there's no use in trying! (and she hates the car, so I'm sure I'll have a hard enough time just trying to get her to even come... but it'll also be OK if she doesn't (ie the bikini binoculars will be in full effect ;))

zizzlemynizzle Apr 16, 2005 01:21 PM

Yeah, we have several guyz that are saying we're just going to the beach..."oh, no honey that's it...just cruising with our Z's and enjoying the sunshine and comraderie!

LoL!

But yeah...the more the merrier!

We've got several people who live in Galveston, Texas City, etc. who are going to the house, but not staying the night for obvious reasons.

hey I might be interested. I cannot say for sure until I find out when I'm doing some Army training this summer. I'll check back here every week or so to get updated info and i'll RSVP if I find out I will be free that day.

Re: Beach Cruise

Well, yesterday we went down to Galveston to map everything out. Had a great time...it was so nice and cool out...just beautiful!

East Beach is a nice place...very CLEAN...pavillion looked like a great set-up for 'bare' essentials! :icon38:

We went over to Crystal Beach to check out the house...and WOW is it nice!

Amazing view of the Gulf....beautiful beach...my old, old memories of Galveston beach are not fond ones...but this beach is not only spotless...but the best beach I've seen anywhere near Galveston!

I took some pictures of the 2-story house and the view of the beach from the house...I will have them up tomorrow for everyone to see. We will have everyone over for dinner...so no need to worry about that...those that are planning to stay-let me know...but feel free to come over for the BBQ party afterwards...we are providing everything...food, sodas, beer, etc.

that's right I said FREE!

If you're commuting from the other end of Texas...you'll probably want to stay the night...so you can either stay at the house...or local motel(not the best, but cheap)...or you can pitch a tent on the beach!...its public...and I personally saw several camped out.

There is plenty of beach parking in front of the house...yeah, that's right...you can drive on the beach!...so no need to worry about your ride...also this stretch of the beach is know as the ZOO b/c of its party nature...so there are several officers on patrol along the beach. We can fit about 8 cars in front of the house...and another 6 along side...the rest can park right in front on the beach about 15 yards from the house!

The house is a 2 story with decking on both stories! There is a swing upstairs and some plastic chairs. I recommend bringing a chair with you. I'm going to see if the rental agency has chairs to rent or something...so most of us don't have to bring a lot...especially with our Z's hatch room!

Needless to say, the four of us that went yesterday were very impressed with what we saw...and wish the cruise was yesterday...can't wait!

We have several Z's coming from Dallas, and San Antonio...so if you feel like making the trip we'd love to have you!

Laterz,

ZizzlemyNizzle

Will post pics tomorrow!

On your previous post...
"The Ferry is free for those coming over to the house...they run every 20 minutes and after midnight every hour."
Do we have to take the Ferry to get to where we going? Because for some of Z owners the Z is lower to the ground, and not sure if there might be some problem enter into the Ferry or not? and is there any spots that might preventing people from get in or get across due to the height of the entrance or speed bumps?

Most likely I will be going!!! and I will be spending the night too!!! :)

zizzlemynizzle Apr 25, 2005 03:34 PM

Oh, don't worry about the ferry...definitely car safe...they have a ramp that your drive on...completely flat. We were in a truck, but most of the vehicles were cars...and because of the Kappa festival that day...there were plenty of lowered rides on 20's...lol...so don't worry about that.

Ok sir, your down for the house...so far we've got 9 staying overnight at the house...still have 11 spaces open...after that its tents/motels.

We've got 21 people so far for the cruise/beach/party&dinner.

We could probably put more in the house if they had sleeping bags...but that's just in case...we might have some inflatable beds just in case we have more interested in staying the night. We don't want anyone making long trips after drinking, etc.

I'm going down there wednesday to get more pics....so I'll post them here soon!

Stay tuned!

zizzlemynizzle Apr 26, 2005 08:18 AM

zizzlemynizzle Apr 27, 2005 06:29 AM

Well, that's what I meant w/ previous post! lol

Just an update guys...I've been getting some interest from other clubs in the area...

Also, looks like we're going to get a Houston 240SX club to join us!
