I'm new to H-town
 

Hey guys...I actually came to Houston like 2 months ago, but haven't really had the time to post much. I'll be here till December and then come back every other semester for my co-op. I'm over in Clear Lake, and I haven't really seen too many imports around here, except for a G35 with a Stillen hood and a lowered Z (I think it was Datyona Blue) with some Volks and maybe a Nismo kit at work. Other than that, it's all like Mustangs and Corvettes.

But yeah...I guess there's was really no huge point to this post other than to introduce myself to the locals and get the low down on Houston/TX. I'd like to try to make it out to the meets some time, except I drive an Acura CL-s, and it may be a bit awkward not knowing anyone... :icon21:

Clear lake is down southeast h-town. Im about 10 min from Clear lake. Hey there a huge meet nov 1 check the meets section under Mayday. Ya my z is parked in the garage most the time.

So how do you like Houston compared to Atlanta?
I love Atlanta. We used to Buck Head ever weekend when I was stationed at Ft. Benning.

I love Atlanta too. For me, Houston's too hot and humid and too big. And it's probably because of where I'm located, but it's a bit quiet and boring around here.

Right next to NASA. Are you talking about the meet they have at that Chick-fil-a right next to Kemah Boardwalk? My friend and I went over there one saturday to get some dinner randomly after detailing our cars, and we saw a random ass car meet. It was sick, but very random for me. It was mostly domestics though, only 1 350z, 1 300zx, and some other random imports.

Nighthawk Black Pearl. I just got it before coming out here. I got an AEM CAI on it, and just got my coilovers in a few days ago.

"Imports" but I'm not sure on details of it :dunno:

JSON, Welcome to Houston! Just come on out to any meet and we will welcome you in. We are friendly and welcoming, just find out who's racing and avoid that crowd. They usually end up with an accident. Be care during your stay because your everyday Houston driver can't drive. You'll have to watch out all of the time.
