Ok the car is up and running. Turns out it was a bad harness that shorted instead of the knock sensor. The manual has a bad way of showing how to test a knock sensor, so mine was good just a bad harness.

Anyone with a 0327 knock sensor code let me know, I got it figured out what to look for now.

Yea I guess I did, I read a bunch of different post thanks for the links.

The manual shows strange way to test the sensor, It shows checking ohms from the pin to grd. So it looks like you can use the metal body of the sensor for grd. That works for one wire senors but our two wire just need to be checked across the pins at the sensor for 550 Kohms.

The weird thing is the first knock sensor I got from Autozone really did test bad. The second one was fine.

My mistake was not checking the harness at first for a short to grd. It showed good continuity but that was because of the short. stupid mistake. I took the old harness apart, the splicing into the shielded wire leaves a bit to be desired. Anyway, all is well thanks for the input.

My car drove really bad. Anything over half throttle and it would just bog down, really not drivable. You could go 70 but it took a long time to get there. HAHA.

I've got black ones that I never uses. They're just the black letters that say my350z.com. If you want them just pm me an address and I'll put them in the mail.

I haven't tried the autocross but will definitely try to fit in with yall on a few of these events if not more - i've done several track days @ most of the Texas tracks in the Supra MKIV(sold it this year) and Subaru(Wifes car thats faster than me) but haven't ever tried the autocross

my resume consists of the below track day events some were weekend some were single day :P - all were completely rookie beginner - all are always crazy fun -
eagles canyon x 2/ cresson x 2/ texas world speedway x 3/ msr houston x1/

all that aside - one of my buddies at work with a camero said that one of the camero guys - had a son that wrecked his twin turbo blue 350z? looked beat up a bit - thats the only z news i have to share though - didn't know if anyone might have known the kid -

^ Looks like in terms of track only experience, you have more than a lot of the DFW guys combined. Autocross, though, these guys are all over it.

Damn, what's going on in the DFW lately with the new members?

Mike2k3BR, welcome to the DFW lounge.

Looks like your driving background should be great for all the events we do thru out the year. AutoX is just smaller/faster course and quicker reflexes for radius turns & slaloms. We also do some of the Time trials which is a middle ground before the "Cresson" type of driving....or HPDE's. So come on out and have fun with us. Look forward to meeting you in the future.

Step 3.) Floor gas pedal and enjoy lol
Or just go to a drift event
