I might be able to come out if you're going to be working on it Saturday morning. I've got plans for the afternoon, but just might swing out your way in the morning. I guess I should have specified... the fronts are easy breezy, but I've not messed with the rear. I've look at tutorials though and don't see how it's much more difficult.
I should have the entire set up from lines to rotors to pads to calipers. I might be missing a couple of washers, though, since I reused them when installing Brembos.

Jake and i have done extended studs on mine before on the rear without removing the drum brakes. When you knock the stud loose turn the hub so the stud is at the bottom and you should have room to slide the old stud out and new one in.
Eric, didn't work. Still not reading temp and says icy.

thanks Pat - it doesn't look horrible - but it does look like i might have to remove the hub which doesn't look too horrible either - i'm hoping the rear axle just falls out basically -
if i have to mess with the e-brake i might have an aneurism - but while i'm there i'll prob adjust it too ... ebrakes pfft wtf sh#t are they still putting those on cars for -

I don't remember how long they were but not much longer. I only had 10 mm spacers on at the tune but took them off soon after when i got my wheels. Eric, you were right. That thermometer stayed messed up all day and night yesterday and when i got in the car this morning it's back to normal again. Idk what happened with it but I'm happy it works again.
i have front rotors and pads, rotors are little warped and too thin to be turned....but will get you by for a bit, someone can have them if you need them.
so i think i am gearing up to get clutch and flywheel, but going to buy them seperate paydays so it is not a big hit on my finances. after that i think i am pretty close to being done, except the high dollar forced induction i want to do, will prob be best to do headers when i do that huh?

Headers? Why? Start doing some research on which type of forced induction you want and see what is needed. To my knowledge most people don't mess with headers on the Z even with forced induction. Also need to know about the added costs. ECU, tuning, possible built engine, etc.
and then again, me and my oddball HR
the clutch package is only $25 cheaper when buying together, i am looking at the GTM supercharger package right now..... but that could change, and it would take me months to save up the money so i have pletnty of time to do more research

I don't know about the GTM kit, but if you just want extra power without going ***** to the wall then a supercharger is a decent idea. You can slap it on and not worry about having to build the block.
what is going to suck most is the heart attack i am going to have when i need to find a shop to put it in..... not a fan of Jotech

The only thing more fun than removing a dual exhaust is removing a dual exhaust that uses 4 bolts to attach the pipes.
ART pipes about to go on now, then the rest of the new exhaust. Luckily Motordyne uses those clamps. Now I just hope it fits.
