Scott - what about the change in tire classification next year? Isn't the R-S3 going to be considered an R-compound race tire now? Or were you telling me that the local clubs would probably stick to the current classification?

The only thing I have seen is for the Street tire class might be limited to 180 tread wear. The Street tire class is just for stock class cars. Right now they run a completely stock car and use r comps. I think a lot of people in stock class wanted to get rid of the trailer and race on street tires so SCCA started the street tire class.

I havent noticed any change to the ST- type classes. The ST is for Street Tuning not Tire. Even if there are changes it would really only effect SCCA events. The other clubs make up there own classing rules.

Hey all,

Z is going back in the shop. Stopped at a red light, about the turn right and the cat behind me, was talking on the phone and looking over his shoulder and went before I did. /facepalm.

^ Cool story, brah.

JK, Mike. Good call on the cam sensor. I've seen several Zs replace them before but didn't really know the symptoms.

It's possible I may make an autocross early in November, but that's probably it. Is anyone doing the ER autoX this Sunday?

P0345 - is the code - that is the only troubleshooting I've had to do on my car. my cam sensor went out ( apparently there was a recall back in the day on the 03 model because the car would just die in the middle of a turn, texting, playing solitare etc and its really common on nissans in general ) basically its like this - if the symptoms are it dies randomly and people give reasons or for no reason - i'm just going to say cam sensor- over the internet troubleshooting skills - perfected -

I can't read that picture Chris - its in some kind of box? and there are no instructions on what to do with it - its really small lol

Jake you are really busy dude - with everyone's cars- very cool! I'm going to be in Carrolton tomorrow - i may shoot you a text and see if you are around - i'll come say hi and check your wall of tires -

I'm tired of making excuses for not showing up on these auto x's so i'm going to just do it this one last time - i had planned on November but my wifes clutch died on the subaru so i'm going to be tapped out - but if for some reason find some funds - I'll keep my ears on to see who's doin what - I am scheduled for a track day in December at eagles canyon and i'll be hitting up college station in march - I don't know if i can get to an autocross in between those dates - but if i can i will -
